BROTHERS AND SISTERS, I lost because I was too excited and resulted my beats being dirty. While Zede did his own thing throughout, not losing his cool and maintained a clean beat. N that is really tough to do in a battle to sustain composure n being aggressive at the same time. Zede my bro, see you soon in our new team with reeps n gang!! :)

Zede like a electronic drum machine. I don't care what ppl said about him, for me he's one of the most flow and natural on-beat human beatboxer. BTW I'm not Zede fanboy. I love Dharni, Reeps, Krnfx etc. I merely want to claim for the last World Champion Beatboxers. RESPECT man!!!

What really amazes me when I watch zede is that he is able to lay a beat down, layer sound effects, and sound technically proficient without missing a beat. He has his own style that no one(except his little brother) can imitate. His timing is beast because he is musically trained. And he brings something new(sounds/patterns) to every single battle we saw. I know he is quiet, but that doesn't change the fact that he he can execute his sounds well. He didn't showcase..he battled. Thats what I see

The casing isn't grey enough to be an SM58. From sign, it looks like an SM58 Beta (they have a slightly greener tint to the casing and a bigger logo on the casing. The blue ring around the pop shield also gives it away... Visual comparison also confirms it (the 58 Beta has a different EQ curve to it as well as higher rolloff). Go to 03:52 and beyond to see a closeup of the mic. Boxers are using 58 Betas, the MC could be using almost any Shure mic (looks most like a Shure from the pop shield).

@skiddlecrumms you don't get it. This isn't a showcase; it's a battle. It doesn't matter how much the crowd likes you, it's about who impresses the judges more. So what if Dharni had the crowd on his side, Zede's beats were more complicated and used more complex rhythms.

Technicality and originality really determine if you were good or not. Zede executed his sounds perfectly, held a complicated, ORIGINAL beat with new tricks and actually battled instead of entertaining the crowd! Dharni's rythem was over the place and his sounds were not clean. You can see that he gets tired in the second round. Also he messes up a beat in the second round as well. He also does song covers which means he loses a lot of technicality.

For the ZeDe vs Dharni battle, ZeDe was clearly more composed and nailed Dharni with an answer after another. ZeDe wasn't even straining, but Dharni seemed to force it a little too much. ZeDe clearly started off really strong, and did extremely well. I'm actually surprised how extremely well ZeDe did in that battle after hearing all the buzz about how Dharni possibly won that battle, but ZeDe clearly demonstrated poise in the heat of that battle.- Some guy on HumanbeatboxDOTcom

I like how Zede kept a beat going for at least 3 times before changing it or adding on to it. He also showed new sound effects every battle. But he is so quiet. Dharni's rythem seemed all over the place to me. It does not sound clean and if you listen to his rounds carefully you can hear him miss beats. Dharni tired himself out in the first round and you can hear him suffer in his second round.

I think that Zede is tighter and therefore better here, its all about how crisp and clear something is not always about how technical it is. I think thats why Zede also beat Vahang, who was really loud but was rhthmically all over place and had a really messy sound. Best battle in the male category was reeps one vs Zede, both sound reall good there.
@rawrimaprick
@rawrimaprick 14 жыл бұрын
zede's snare is weak. however, one major beef i have with most of the contestants on this thing is how they just can't seem to get on a beatboxing roll. these guys however managed to go on a rather nice consistency, which is appreciated.
@Sliceofpow
@Sliceofpow 13 жыл бұрын
@skiddlecrumms To the audience that is. To the judges they have a score sheet for different categories of beatboxing(technicality, originality, organization, musicality etc...) where they give them a score of 1-10. And the judges are well known beatboxers like Eklips, Roxorloops, Scratch. So don't say the judges are idiots.
