Nice, but the "dicit" sound pretty different, it sound like if you say "cheat" so it is "dicheat enim" ;)

Thanks for listening! We were attempting to use German Latin, since Mendelssohn is a German composer and his sacred choral works are often performed with that form of Latin pronunciation. The 'ci' is pronounced as "tsi" in this context.
