You need to clear them if you want to unlock more items for fun but the real powerful items are al unlocked at the very start

They are good for gold and cells tho, plus sometimes they drop a scroll and elites can drop an amulet or an item. And a minor thing is the fact you have more space ig. So i wouldn't say _completely_ unnecessary. And I mean don't you fell pretty badass just waving yourself through enemies?

I'm fairly new to DC (I have 60hrs, and know the spoilers so watching some speedruns) and not completely finished with the vid yet but hearing the runner talk about their world record run being so bad and having so much time loss is hilarious tbh. I know it probably gets insane later but it's awesome you never reset even with the bad luck at the beginning, it's just really funny to see in what is the world record. Amazing job btw!

It's mainly a mental thing to me. Do I want to continue a run that's a minute behind after 0bc, even though I know I can make up that time? On some days yes, on some no. A few days ago I had a no-reset run that turned out to be 2h 12m with one death on 1bc. There was no point in continuing to run after it, besides getting more practice in.

@@Vord That makes sense. I definitely do not have the mindset of a speedrunner, even tho I love watching them. I imagine it's a bit of perfectionism? I find it common seeing speedrunners get literally the world record, and being like "eh, it was an okay run" even tho to casual players it's like the best thing we've ever seen with crazy good gameplay and we're just in awe the whole time watching. Playing on the Mobile is just bad, the screen gets way too much traffic that you sometimes go the opposite way(fucked up my tactical to queen run) If you're on mobile, I'd recommend to use a wireless controller.

It's not defined as one at least. It's definitely not intended, but some things just fall under movement tech which is allowed, so it's on the same level as the Assault Shield roll for example
