This is absolutely INSANE… I barely beat infernum mode myself but seeing things like this makes no-hit fights look like a joke. It just makes me so impressed with this community, and yet this is such an underrated video.

we all know this is just practice for when he inevitably gets the masochistic urge to do hardcore infernum. its not a question of if. its a question of when. when talking about Terraria and playing on higher difficulties it always is.

@@Dryerr06 about the performance of your game. it might just be your frame skip setting thats messing stuff up. or if you have the game installed on an external drive that might also be a problem. but changing frame skip should already help. edit: yea looking at the Deus fight its most likely just changing frame skip that'll fix the issue. I had the exact same looking issue during DoG in my Infernum playthrough and changing frame skip fixed it. although instead if lagging like that you'll get some slow motion action. but thats way better than the lag

@@Lt_Koro Regarding the lag it was actually just my PC, and i also had my display cable on my second monitor lol. So I got a new CPU and switched the cable and it worked like a charm.

Cool video, i really liked the idea of reseting the stage on death instead of deleting the world, it has high stakes but not as punishing as hardcore and does not invalidate other forms of getting stronger like making a farm or getting a pre boss weapon that is good for a good chunk of pre hardmode

Yeah I don't know if I could even attempt a hardcore one. Maybe now I could since I've fought every boss a lot but it is still daunting.

@@Dryerr06 there is no need to push yourself too hard, vanilla hardcore runs are already tense, so i can only imagine how an infernum run would be, maybe doing small chalanges first and then doing harder ones until the Idea no longer sound so bad

@@Dryerr06 maybe a weapon limitation like X weapon class or only using weapons that fit a certain theme, like explosions, an element or some mobility limits like wingless, or Just a class the you're not familiar with, for ex a stealth only rogue If you want something more chalanging you can try ftw as the bosses have their modifiers but there isn't ALL of the weird stuff of gfb like food or getting killed in the dark While writing the Idea of only dealing damage during the effect of rippers, making a build focused around It could be cool to see, i never saw a run like this

In calamity mod, the rod of discord is sold by the wizard when moved to a hallow biome. You can also move any variant of gravestone into magic storage crafting for the ecto mist effect.

in a very weird way, watching you build the first houses manually just inspired me to cut back on my QoL mods for my next playthrough. which is weird cuz I usually also set up my first houses manually.... but I think it'll be quite nice to "force myself" to experience the rest of the game more properly. I usually play with like 20 QoL mods cuz I just enjoy fighting bosses the most. edit: also damn. this is possibly the first time I'vee seen someone first try infernum skeletron based titanium armor hater. adamantite supremacy there is no way you think infernum duke is easier than vanilla duke 💀 vanillas third phase is so free...

Yeah I like building sad I didn't do a lot of it in that play through. But yeah infernum fishron wasn't that bad his patterns felt a bit easier to me and less chance was involved and more skill based.

Not gonna lie. When you said reset, I thought you were running like hardcore or something. This is still pretty impressive, really makes you wanna get the best gear before doing a boss so you won't regret having to redo it later lol. Also appreciate how you aren't flying off the handle when something happens, to many people out here yelling and screeching when they die or when a boss is doing something... I do find it odd how you layered other music over your audio though, having it clash with the calamity music was really weird on the ears at times.

Thanks for the compliments I don’t really like over exaggerating things much and I don’t rlly think I’m capable of it. But yeah in the pre-hard mode part that was my first video ever so I didn’t know what I was doing with both editing and recording so it’s not my finest work. I do like to say I think I’ve become better at editing though.

That was choice I chose to keep because the fights in terraria are the main parts especially in a difficult challenge like this. Of course I didn’t show full fights of the failures cause that would be way too long.

Super impressive to see something like this pulled off. Im not hating or telling you how to play the game, but the potions that give you a free dodge and more i frames arent from calamity. Just keep that in mind when doing official calamity challenges, no hate tho. Your super underrated, and I have a feeling your channel is gonna go places in the future!

Yeah I assumed alchemist NPC might have added them, but also the NPC sells them in the Calamity section so IDK if they are an add-on for Calamity or what but yeah those potions were nice to have.

I think it is Roccat Magma but I use a high pass voice filter so it both isnt as noisy and a bit of a higher pitch.

If you haven't done death or revengence difficulties first do those, they are part of the base game. But if you have and you want the extra challenge go for it, however it can be a bit buggy on multiplayer.
