Beating Dead Cells as The Hollow Knight | TRUE NAIL ONLY*

Thanks for watching my terrible video lol. Dead Cells is one of the best rogue-lites that has come out, and in 2021 they added the Hollow Knight Pure Nail, and Vessel Skin as a Indie Game Crossover. I attempt to beat the whole game with just the pure nail (and any weapons that I deem Hollow Knight Adjacent)

You could’ve played in custom mode and pre equip your weapons, or disable all weapons except the Pure Nail. Or do it the way you did, it’s a lot more challenging.

@@medola- You can modify a lot of the game’s values and can make it easier (or harder) than normal. You can also enable or disable weapons and decide which appear in the item pool or not. There is a lot more to it, I recommend you checking it out!

Some comments from me (I am far from pro at this game, but still have 670 hours in it :) - as mentioned, custom mode is your friend for showcases and custom setups - and it allows you to get fitting legendaries too! - for getting 60 kill rewards (and thus more chance for a (good) weapon), higher difficulties can be better, because they unlock extra doors which can feature enemies which count into the limit. At 4BC you can fail promenade ~50 enemies in and still get 60 kills, for example. - at 3:48, wasn't the Lightspeed one of your allowed picks (as HK Sharp Shadow) from start of the video? - point blank works only for ranged weapons, nail isn't ranged and it doesn't work on skills, meaning zero effect. - in general read up on the mutations (Tainted Flask is currently a bit sub-par as well, IMO, and it's getting buffed next patch for a reason - though on lower difficulty where it gets refilled all the time it's fairly usable, I guess, the only problem being you need to get hit to actually use it) - Time Keeper is lorewise a girl ;) - and most importantly, your pogoing skills are really good - I imagine you can unlock higher difficulties soon, keep up the good game! ^^

At 3:48 was Phaser, it looks similar to Lightspeed but they work differently

You could use assault shield as a dash, especially if you bind it to the same button as the roll, telluric shock as descending dark and that ranged, that shoots more stuff the less health you have as the vengeful spirit, have no idea for the abyss shriek

True, I still don't have every item/weapon unlocked, but the shield and shock would both work for that!
