I did this challenge, but with 11 KILLS not BOSSES. Any living thing was allowed to live unless it was required to be killed. This means no scarabs(they have a health pool), no farming and no enviromental killing (fall damage/poison swamps). This makes you value any resource you can find.

Fun fact: if you kill Morgott before visiting Stormveil, Margit won't show up and you can just stroll right in. It's probably not that useful, unless you REALLY wanted the claw talisman or extra pickles, but it's kind of neat. Don't know why it doesn't do that for Mohg in the sewers, though...

My theory is that the Mogh in the sewers is a creation of Mogh and not Morgot, that would explain why Mogh is the only demigod Morgot doesn't call a traitor in his cutscene

I've considered this idea before, but the Mogh fight is what worries me about the viability. It was already a tricky one on the Reverse Boss Order run, and that gets you several more levels. Very cool to see it in action, though!

@@revezephos2088That LITERALLY cannot work for this challenge without glitches. You can only finish the VM story by going to the Mountaintops to kill Juno Haslow, which in turn requires you to kill Margit, which in turn STILL requires two Shardbearers.

You shuld do a "beating elden rkng in the wrong3st way possible" AKA beat the bosses in this order: Rykard, mohg, morgott, fite giant, all the final bosses and only then move on to the rest. Also use stuff you never used before

I did this run back before the Somber 7 skip in Volcano Manor was patched, and went and farmed the giant bird next to the Albinaurics for a bunch of levels before Mohg. Turns out a +10 Reduvia with the powerstance dagger moveset and being over level 100 for the fight makes it a lot easier. 😅 Cool to see the run is still doable without all that though!

I assume you skipped this as the grafted scion is still there but if you use the 4 bellfrys to go back to where the game started there is a dead fingermaiden there (likely your intended one) to get blood from.

You can bring it down to 9 if you do the ruptured tear skip. Only need to kill an Erdtree Avatar and you skip both great rune bosses and DTS. (if glitches were included ofc)

Did they disable the Taunters Tongue on Divine Bridge? You used to be able to use it there, and the onvader would have to bring the lift up, which puts you on the capital. Making Gold Godfrey the first boss you have to face.

Obligatory "If you used wrong warps and zips, you'd barely need to fight any bosses." comment (you can skip the first 6 bosses of the video if you just wrong warp to Farum Azula for example). But, okay, you did a great job playing "as the Devs intended."

you can get runes from Greyoll without killing her, soon as you bring her to zero HP you mount up, rush back to the grace and jump off tto take it, and if you're fast enough you'll get the runes for killing her, but the other 5 dragons won't have died yet, so when you get off the grace they're all still alive. But Greyoll is a boss because she doesn't respawn once you kill her, but with her arena being half of Caelid and it being a gimmick fight that less than 1% of players do as intended, she's been reduced to "cheese for runes" status.

@@brandealda5868 She's a unique enemy with a mechanic coded in specifically for her, cheesing her with bleed automatically kills the other 5 dragons too, and killing her drops boss level runes as well as killing her unlocking Greyoll's Roar at the dragon communion shrine. All other named dragons that unlock dragon communion spells have boss bars and boss music in the same way, with Greyoll I'm pretty sure the only reason she does not is the fact she should technically have six boss health bars ((since the encounter is tied up with the 5 lesser dragons)) And the boss's own HP is pretty much irrelevant since her health is intended to be counted in how many dragons are still alive, not in a specific health bar... I think common sense is still to consider her a boss, more arguments for it than against it.

2nd comment, but... You -know- Mohg gets the damage buff when you make him bleed too, right? If you're gonna try to bleed build against him you best have the full damage setup that can take him from 80% to 0 HP before he manages to could down from 3 so he doesn't even get the first Nihil off.

I am on my second elden ring playthrough and i have yet to understand how godskin noble prevents you from doing rykard ? Litteraly just climb up Mt. Gelmir, skip the full grown falling star beast and just enter through the main gate of the manor where tanith is? Similarly i've seen the whole lava area under volcano manor but i've yet to see how the hell you get there and why?

You have to kill godskin noble to continue through volcano manor,, the only way to get to rykard without killing the noble is by doing a skip.
