God, I remember those books from back then. I think I was like 8 or something. My mom at first refused to by them for me, but I convinced her and I got the whole 2014 collection. Say what you will about those books, but they did teach me how to craft things lmao. If it wasn’t for them, I probably wouldn’t have ever progressed at all in that game.

Based on ingredient names, the recipe has changed, because pumpkins are now called carved pumpkins. Based on the source code, idk if the carved pumpkin or the pumpkin fills the pumpkin's original space in the code.

I'd argue that the Building Book is the fourth one, and the second one is the combat book, if you look at the last page of each handbook. Edit: I checked again and the Redstone Guide is the second book, combat is third.

the combat handbook does actually mention using beds to kill the dragon, it wasn’t as useful back then though since the dragon didn’t perch at the portal back then (in fact the portal didn’t spawn until the dragon was already defeated)
