Funny thing, the official (and extremely dated) Minecraft handbook suggests using snowballs to kill blazes, thus making it exactly how mojang intended blazes to be killed

Blazes actually drop blaze rods when killed by snowballs they have to weakened with snowballs and finished off with a sword.

I tried using the seed finder website to locate a stronghold in my Peaceful world, but I couldn't find the stairway in the coordinates even tho I was digging a spiral staircase down. I guess the coordinates aren't exact, and I had to actually look around. But that means it could still be at ANY depth, which would take too long, ugh.

I like how blowing up trees for wood , killing the iron golem for iron, using snowballs to kill the blaze, and using beds to kill the ender dragon are all speed running tactics which really goes to show how much speed runners think about what they are doing and how weird of routes they take
