I have done this challange aswell and i found out that if you do races manually tsunoda performs way better but if you simulate the races riccardo outperforms tsunoda for some reason. I checked the mentality etc. but i didn't find anything. And because of this, if you start the simulate when your car gets ready, riccardo immadiately closes the points gap and this led to verstappen wining the wdc in my save. so if riccardo underperforms, you can simulate races aswell.

If you're going to embrace the cheese and buyout better staff members, you might as well re-negotiate the contracts of your existing staff members/driver to a one with a 0x breakout, which means you wouldn't need to pay the $2M Cost to Break Contract like at 9:41. As long as you make their new contract Start Date = Immediately and have a duration longer than their pre-existing contract, you won't pay their breakout when you "upgrade" their contract. Make sure to do Offer Deadline = Immediate as their contract has to be settled before you poach the new staff, it means they would have a higher salary to make them accept immediately with no negotiation but you only pay that on the 1st of the month anyway. Quick maffs would have saved yourself like 3.7M or so.

NGL Tsunoda is good on the game and doesn't crash a lot like he did last few years! I always replace riccardo after 3rd race with sainz or perez

Do you know how the AI designs through the season? Do they adjust all sliders or just 2 like research? I wanna play with the rules the AI is playing both on research / design

I believe the AI keeps things balanced sliderwise, they generally do 2 research projects per part.
