We've had some really warm days here in Michigan. We're doing everything we can to keep our cows happy and comfortable.
Plus, it's been dry here, so the guys are getting everything ready to start irrigating the corn by the farm.

Some stains are way better than others. Trial and error until the one stain lasts more than one year outside in the rain and snow. The deck looks good and looks like it'll last.

Great video!! It sure has been hot here on west Michigan! With AC it really makes it hard to get back out into the heat. AC is nice to have for sleeping the nights it doesn’t cool off.

The weather here in the NE has been brutal also. With the heat and high humidity. But hopefully today is the last of it. The other day it was 105 here. Even with the A/C on full it struggled to keep up. We have that front line coming some time later today. They say we have the potential for sever thunder storms and possible tornados. Thank You McKenzie for posting your Esty store. I'm going to foreword it to my friend so she can buy here own from you. She has a skin problem that even the docotrs don't know what it is. But your soap has turned problem around.

Just ordered, and received very quickly, 2 soaps from Mackenzie. Orange Patchouli and Vanilla Bean. My husband and I both tried the Orange Patchouli. Love it! As dry as our skin gets during our Iowa winters, I will definitely be ordering the Oatmeal for that. Have you ever considered lilac scented soaps or goats milk lotions? Would 💯 buy those. Your products are amazing.

Rather than hold the bottles of milk for the calves, I wonder if you have ever just used those two and half gallon buckets with a nipple on them. The buckets have a L hook that attached to the railing of a board, and than you just can watch them as they drink. It just another way to make your job easier.

Ronda, you and all the family probably know this already but… I heard a news item about a farm in Illinois that almost lost his bales of hay because of the extreme heat there so I want you to promise me that everyone will keep a close eye on your bales of hay you have too much hay to lose if it catches on fire Other than that I am hoping you are all feeling good and not dehydrated at all I have been enduring the heat with just a window fan and lots and lots of lemonade 😊 so until next time I text you please be safe, work safely and stay hydrated😊❤

I can remember when i worked on a farm for 3 years every time we had to tube a calf seems like they either died any how or they just did real poorly

Not sure what your house attic looks like, but I installed what is called a whole house fan. In the evening when the sun has gone down and outside temp. has dropped, this fan moves a lot of air and evacuates the attic heat and brings cool air into the house. Check it out on your PC if your interested.

we have become soft. I grew up without this air conditioning, car, and a cab tractor. Are weed killer was a hoe and many hours walking fields. We milked 30 head by hand. What's my point. 58 years ago the tempatures were the same as today.

Today is our first day without rain. Water standing. No hay cut. My experience with cows in the barn on hot days is they crowd up on the darker side even if its hotter. I think they associate it with shade in the pasture thinking it is cooler. Just my theory. 😊
