Travis Hopkins Related to Dominion, there was the 2nd edition of Puzzle Strike, where one character used to have a degenerate strategy, where he works on thinning and building his deck (one of his character cards removes 2 card from his deck) until he only has the heavy hitting chips. And with the comeback mechanic where the closer you are to losing, the more you draw, and it being like Dominion where the deck cycles, it worked into by the lategame, able to draw the exact same hand every turn of massive attacks (and this ended up with tournaments of 2 hour matchups vs draw heavy engine decks) This got nerfed in third edition (making the character's cards unable to be removed, so he can never thin to the perfect sized deck)

I did some napkin math to check, but it was definitely better to get rid of Shield Block in your Dead Man's Hand rotation. The order would go Dead Man's Hand -> Coldlight -> Bash -> Hero Power Doing so leaves only one card in your deck (which you will draw next turn) and net you 7 armor (nullifying the Lich King's damage). EDIT: Forgot to mention, this also lets you Coldlight every turn, helping make sure you avoid timing out on turn 45.

Few Tipps to you Trump.. Copy Armorsmith because it will always take the Lichkings Frostmourne hit (-5 Face Dmg each turn). If you bring the last 2/6 minion to 2/1, it will automatically go face and not hit your LOW (!) minion. Therefore just play your 2/2 card draw, Copy back to hand with the 3/2 (automatic Lichking hit target) and do so forever... Cheers (sry don't know the minions names because I am not playing the game in the english language).

I beat him with a standard pirate deck on either turn 7 or 10, the trading that happens powers the frothings up easy, and i run commanding shout which made the trading through 7 easy too if i remember correctly. he didnt draw his single removal either

Without shieldblock it would be a perfect circle of cards. Each turn you would draw exactly all the cards in your deck (2 from oracle and one at the start). Mana is also perfect (2 for hand, 3 for oracle, 3 for bash and 2 for hero power) :)

Dead man's hand: shuffles bash coldlight and dead man's hand into deck. Then you play coldlight and bash it, drawing two of the cards, and hero power. that's ten mana, and next turn you can rinse and repeat because you draw the last card.

I think Trump actually could've get away with tossing out the Shield Block out of the perfect hand. Correct me, if I've missed something, but here we go: If his hand was exactly DMH, DMH, Oracle and Bash, and he had no cards in deck, he could loop the sequence of DMH -> Oracle (draws 2 out of 3 cards) -> Bash the Oracle -> Hero Power. This costs 2+3+3+2, so he'd have the mana, he'd gain 7 armor to counter Lich King's 7 damage and at the start of the next round he'd have the same hand and an empty deck. This way he'd increase LK's fatigue counter by 3 each turn, so chances are he'd be able to OTK him.

I beat him with warrior a pretty complicated way so I didn't have to craft anything. Kel + public to keep him stuck in the frost mourn phase (no brawl so I needed to actually kill 5 of the ghosts before dropping them) and then 2 red mana worms + explore ungoro to build up enough attack on board to kill him after the frostmourne phase.

shield block shouldn't be necessary and the chain would be perfectly consistent each turn: 4 cards in hand, none in deck, 4 cards being coldlight, bash, 2x deadman deadman to start each turn, shuffling 3 into deck, 8 mana left coldlight after deadman (drawing 2 of of the 3 shuffled), 5 mana left bash coldlight (gain 3 armor), 2 mana left tank up, gain 4 armor, 0 mana left next turn start, draw the last of the 3 cards shuffled, completing the loop to do over and over and again every turn each turn gains 7 armor, and the lich king does exactly 7 damage

Play the latest blood magic tavern brawl as a mage with the most basic of the basic card, still win 50 % of the encounter. The key was having counter spell at early round and push as much damage as possible with all the spell damage you have.

I used public defender, KT, siege engine combo. Setup is similar, public defender+KT for stall on last soul, and then just build armor to pump up for siege engine to OTK when you are ready to cull the last soul. But considering KT and siege engine are wild, you might or might not be able to use this.

You forgot the main point of fatiguing is the oponent actually runs out of cards, fatigue just speeds up the process, if you would have shuffled brawl yo could just repeatedly remove his board and done it way quicker without the risk of hitting the turn limit.

Believe me , the lich king's hero power won't do anything to you compared to what the fatigue damage does... especially is you're shufflin iron hide/ bring it on to your deck. Dont get me wrong ideally you want to run him out of cards during the Frostmourne phase , but its no big deal if he pops it before you ramped the damage too much. Thats how I beat him.
