Love your reaction video to the point. I got my box set and I love it. I think it will be highly sought after eventually.. I am pushing 60 and I just started collecting the Beatles about a year ago now I want it all. I wish I would have started earlier now because I've been a Elvis fan since before he passed.Those two changed the world Elvis and the Beatles.

Thank you 🙏 There’s some great Elvis reissues that have come out. The Memphis one-step by MOFI is incredible, and the re-issues by Acoustic Sounds/Analogue Productions are also equally amazing. As for starting earlier, it would have been a lot cheaper 😂 But, no better time than the present. So many wonder reissues available now, which is a great way to relive these classic albums. 😉 Happy collecting!

Bought the box and the Target blue, that’s the only one I’ve played and as an original 1st gen fan , it’s a clean mint version of a US Beatle album , it sounded very much like the original, loved it

Excellent review! I bought the box set and am very happy with the sound. I own a couple of original mono pressings in good condition; I have yet to do a sound comparison. Yours is one of the first good sonic reviews I've seen on KZbin for this box set. Thanks again!

I went crazy and purchased this Beatles 1964 US Albums set and I must say the overall sound quality is very good. The highs, lows & middles have been equalized, and the drums and bass have a new resonance. As the 2014 UK mono LPs used will cost you a king's ransom, these are essential & fun purchase!

Great review first time watching your channel very informative! I bought the mono albums individually. I remember seeing the Beatles story back in the late 70’s so if i didn’t buy it then not going to buy it now. I compare them to my 60’s mono copies. The reissue are very punchy and more clear with the AM radio vibe. So I was very happy with them. I just wonder if they ate limited edition or are they gonna be around for a while? Have a good one!

Thank you, Matt! I don’t blame you in the Beatles Story 😉😂 And I totally agree with your assessment, these are punchy and sound great for what they are. Oddly, the boxset is limited but the individual pressings are suppose to stay in-print for a while. At least that’s what I understand, which makes the boxset’s $130 increase even harder to justify. IMO, they should keep the Beatles Story in-print as long as the others are, and sell the box for $50 or $60 more than the 6 individual albums. For the extra cash, you get the Story and a collection box to store all the records in. This would make it more palatable for people to purchase.

Nice Unboxing Sir! I personally didn’t go with the Box set though. Too overpriced in my opinion. So I went individually on the albums. I’m glad I was able to get them like that. They sound great! I was also able to get the blue target release of meet the Beatles, and still be cheaper than the box set. $130 dollars is just to much especially with inflation and cost of life I can’t make that kinda of purchase. Enjoy your box set

I bought one of em (Hard Days Night). Not impressed. These are hideous sounding. Disservice to the Beatles. The record looked clean but dirty. Had to ultrasonic clean 3 times. Surface noise and inner groove distortion even after clean. The low end is bloat…. Wait a year or 2 they will be everywhere. To me Beatles in mono is just a nostalgia niche. The tapes must be shot. Mud mud mud. There is tape warble on side B of Hard Days Night. Don’t waste your money. Go get the OGs.

I totally agree that they are dirty records that need a good bath before playing. However, I didn’t have the same listening experience as yourself. I must go back to see if I hear the tape warble on side b of HDN. I don’t recall it, but I listened to all the records back-to-back and may have overlooked it. Thanks for pointing it out.
