The Beatles were so versatile... all kinds of songs, for all tastes. And they could explore a whole range of nuances and influences, go risky directions yet always remain in tune with each other. Isn't that incredible? It's almost impossible for anyone to dislike The Beatles. I think The Beatles were so good because they were all great composers, great instrumentalists and great singers. PLUS, great chemistry they had.

You should have lived the time when The Beatles were active. What a chance I had. Every single song used to bring something new. The melody flow, the rhythm, percussion session, the guitars sonority, the introduction of various instruments and of course the message of the lyrics. Besides this there were a lot of other things like their pictures, their clothes(colours, shape, fabric), the aspect of their albums, and who can deny, their haircut!

Of course, part of the reason for why that is is because of the tendency for popular artists to live dangerous lifestyles involving drugs, alcohol, promiscous sex, and meeting with various shady individuals and psychotic fans. Lexi, I'm 28. The Beatles are amazing and you SHOULD be proud you listen to them. One thing I can tell you though is that a good song is a good song. It is SO hard to write a song. A good rule of thumb I live by is that ANY singer songwriter should be respected for the fact that they are putting music out into the world. So, if someone WRITES _AND_ PERFORMS their music.. give them auto respect. Even if it's someone like Taylor Swift, or the music that Beiber wrote himself.

My first impression of this video was similar to the ones who are leaving negative comments. After watching it a few times I think it's one of the most brilliant videos I've seen. It's not trying to be a fake lip sync to a different Beatles song like some of those I've seen. It's obviously an imaginary concert that may have taken place had the Beatles not split up when they did. If you are willing to suspend your disbelief, you might actually enjoy it as I have.

Finally, fun fact.. one way to sum up what makes the Beatles so amazing is that they WENT FROM basically Justin Beiber, you know -- the stuff they show on TV (Black and white, Ed Sullivan days) to the greatest singer/songwriters ever, legitimately in like 2-3 years and were really only a (known/popular) group for like 5-6 years. They went from Beiber to releasing like 5-6 of the greatest albums EVER in just a few years. Listen to what was on the radio right before them. HUGE advancement.

The Beatles last show was in August of 66. At Candlestick park in San Fran. This is a really cool vidio though. It kinda gives us an idea of what they may have looked like as a group in the 70's,,had they stayed together

So this is a edit together of Lennon doing a live concert with the Plastic Ono Band. Images of Harrison and McCartney are cut in from other performances. Paul is in his Wings stage costume complete with Wings Emblem Pendant hanging around his neck and a late 70's mullet haircut. Harrison waves goodbye to his crowd and leaves the stage because that was a clip from his own concert. Plus the Plastic Ono Band has got a guy playing sax but you don't hear that in the sound track.
