How about if you want to go the other way around? My sample is what I want to lock to and the drum sample is too slow. This method doesn't seem to work? Do you have any suggestions?

I got BM3 not too long ago and your videos have been quite helpful thank you. I was wondering if you could do a video on how to lock in a sample from a record (or song from KZbin). Whenever I try to sample the first four bars or first eight bars of an old record I’m always off?!? Preciate your time...

Hello I new to bm3 ,and I'm trying use tb reelbus for a tape stop.it works proper like it should, sounds great!!.but when I go to record the effect works while recording but when I play it back no tape stop effect.i figured out how to pitch shift with out reelbus but I would really like to know what I was doing wrong?

Do you have to match the bpm of the sample and track first or can you leave the overall tempo alone while you find the bpm of the sample and then when you click time stretch it speeds up or slows down the sample to match whatever the song bpm is set to? Hope you understand my question.

IDK why, but ever time I pick a sample and hit live stretch, it never highlights the sample, so it never changes the tempo when I try to adjust... any thoughts on this? Am I doing something wrong?

Your tutorial is incorrect. I did the time stretch with my sample. When you speed up the sample, the metronome speeds up to. So with that being said the 16 pad sample plays incorrectly. Going to the Keys option doesn’t make it play correctly either.

elbowMedia Studios The stretch and pitch was all correct. The problem is with the metronome speeding up too when you speed up your sample. Load up a regular sample and press it in all 16 pads and see to understand what I’m talking about. It will cut your sample off because of the speed of the metronome when your hitting the pads on the down beat. The speed of the tempo is not matching the metronome. Hopefully I’m explaining this correctly.

elbowMedia Studios Disregard message. I figured out how to do it. I had to get the sample tempo which was 84.37 and slow it way down to match the song tempo which was 92 bpm. Weird huh. I slowed it down to 68 bpm( for the sample, not the song tempo). Now the sample plays out correctly on the 16 pads without being cut off because of the metronome. As I slowed the sample down in editing mode, it sped up to match the metronome song tempo. Just to let you know, the sample music was at a slow pace at 84.37.
