AIGHT SO BASICALLY... As a young watch who lived in poverty, he wanted to enjoy life as a upper class citizen but couldn't at the time (pun intended) because of how ridiculously unfair how lower class citizens couldn't afford much and laws were made that were to be abided that didn't affect higher classes. Alot of clocks from lower classes were regularly killed by having their heads smashed because they wanted change with their economic and political system, hence the broken clocks. I was a sore sight for eyes for the young watch to see clocks die weekly and this gave him a bit of a fear for figures of authority and confrontation. So one day he said to himself "I'm tired of our short time here as the poor. From now on, I'll better myself and the rest of this city". And in a blink of an eye he climbed up the ranks and was an entrepreneur in ginormous businesses and ruled over the land. He was living up to all of expectations and was enjoying life. But the wealth-- the control that he gained corrupted him. When it came to his promise of helping the city slums, he only gave a fraction of his wealth which made almost no difference. People rioted and protested angrily to which, he retaliated by threatening the people he would enforce stricter laws and made so that no clock from a low income area could ever reach even a decent wage. The watch was then alone in his home. Looking out his balcony in his clocktower (because in their world it's the equivalent of a castle). "I would never give up my hard earned money. It's not like anyone helped me reach here..." And 4 days later, it was found that he was dead hanging in the air by strings as he swung around like a puppet. And on the floor were gears, clock hands, bolts and nuts which wrote out a message: Time's up And to this day nobody gave him a proper funeral. They didn't question how he died and neither side cared. His lifeless body still dangles around for al of eternity.
