I am so happy I found this. Two days ago I watched a recording of Green Velvet playing this tune live. I heard the lyric 'Footsteps' and tracked the original Motels track down. Then I put 'Tech House Footsteps' into Google this morning and heard your original mix. THEN I wanted to watch an Ableton tutorial for for Tech House this evening and learnt how it plays. Thanks. Question though...how did you sample that lyric without the background noise? I was surprised to hear the original so high pitched!
