I had to come on here and say how great of a Job the Doctor did, great call. I saw clearly Jones was dazed and the Doctor saw the same. Ferreria GREAT WORK and Jones u fought hard. Just go back to the board and work on ur Defense. U kept ur gloves shoulder hight and Ferrari is to quick to be that incompetent. U have to protect urself the Dr. made the perfect Call

Jones’ trainer sending her out for that final round was horrendous. Needs to be fired. Horrible trainer. She wasn’t going to win that fight, was out on her feet, and was taking so many clean shots to the head. Wasn’t even putting her guard up. Good on the doctor for doing what the ref and especially the trainer should’ve done.

Exactly! Her trainer should've stopped the fight from like the 5th or 6th round. For him to send Destiny back out in the 8th round after she got knocked down (and was taking a beating) was irresponsible and shady as hell. Destiny should find a better trainer or retire before she gets hurt bad. @@CasterShellz

We have to remember the trainer be hurt right along with its fighter, kinda like how parents feel after learning their child got beat up or jumped. That defeated feeling can lead to many things good and the bad. It will be her Trainer that gains Jones conference back. Mayweather Sr. & Jr will help Jones master the art of Defense. Exactly. Just defensively irresponsible and inept. Didn’t even attempt to get her guard up or move her head after punching. Kept her head right on line and it was basically target practice for Ferreira. Jones has A LOT of work to do.

Achei-a muito bem; boa esquiva, precisa nos golpes colocados, boa assimilação (sim, pq recebe golpes tbm)... muito completa. Acho que ela vai mais longe. Parabéns, Beatriz!! Excellent work by Beatriz, my conclusion is that the the elbow cut her and the punch brought out the blood. Good decision to stop the fight, Jones showed a lot of heart but had no path to winning and she was taking too many shots and was still buzzed at the start of round 8. The doctor did not see a good response in her eyes.

This would have been a different fight if Destiny followed up with with a right hand or left hook combo after the jab. She became predictable and Beatriz was able to time her and counter EVERYTHING she threw. Everything she threw should have came after the jab. Her team underestimated Beatriz and Destiny paid for it. Destiny should have won that fight. Easily.

@@andredanonez there's nothing special about Beatriz, favorite or not. Clearly you're just a fan or you don't know a thing about boxing. She could have been beat easily if Destiny wasn't predictable. Beatriz only won off of counter punching. If Destiny threw combos from angles or pushed the fight and stayed on her, Destiny would have won UD or by KO stoppage. Easily. Being a 'favorite' to win in boxing means nothing. It's a fight at the end of the day. Beatriz did nothing spectacular but expose holes where Destiny's coach should have dealt with in preparation. Anybody could have looked good out there against Destiny.

Congrats to ferreria . Off topic no subliminal tones or narratives. I would love to see some boxing year around drug testing for these female fights and fighters mandatory . If they asking for 3 min rounds. .there has to be some kinda testing for everyone with female.boxing on come up . To level the fairness back in topic ... As far as the stoppage, fair enough . Destiny Jones is a good fighter. I think her trainer need to be some one of too caliber to her talent. So many combos that she knows that we're not being. thrown. Exiting from a attack with no guard. Only head movement. . I watched her for quite awhile in the ams. She never did this . Where is it coming from.? Nothing more or less it cost her the fight . Not fighting to height with correct range from the front foot . Ferrera was doing next nothing to dictate size or range of Jones .. Besides throw the over hand which she missed until it landed and use speed some countering here n there . I'm not being petty or anything ferriera is hell a talent. It just. The corner of Jones is not gonna cut it long term. Jones need to get some pointers from Abel Sanchez or. Train with C Shields.. no excuse for all of these mistakes. And lack of telling her to adjust them in the corner. . As I watch this again. Her right hand is a winner to beat anybody . I think her corner is not up to her level no harm or foul . Congratulations to ferrierea.
