I'm late to the dance. Introduced to Beats Antique by the woman I love, and having seen them at the Fox Theater in Oakland a few weeks ago, I'm now backfilling my resume. It is a slow process because I have been fixated on the "KEXP Live Studio" recording for months. In the spirit of evolution, I clicked on this video tonight instead. Fucking brilliant. "Cat Skillz", the track that plays over and again in my head while I go about my day, now has a visual frame of reference. So down with this band.

Loved it! I don't know the technical terms but I loved the overall feel of the video, the editing, the colour effects (post production, I guess?) and the dance battle was super delicious! That part was by far my favourite part of the video in styling, makeup, choreography, editing, angles, lighting, the whole shebang. I give it 14/15 brownie points (I ate the 15th. Forgive me, I was ravenous.) And the music was great, too, of course! But I ran out of characters.
