The new Beats Pill turned out to be a pretty good little speaker! At low to about 60% volume, the bass and clarity are solid with the bass performance stealing the show. At higher volumes, things start to fall apart with loss of bass and occasional "screechy" highs. Overall, I think it's a good personal speaker for a bedroom or office to be played at moderate volumes.
