Just picked up at Best Buy and really glad I watched this- your supposed to twist them away from you. I was doing the opposite bc of what KZbin reviewers were recommending and twisting them forward and thought man these things are painful. They feel way better now.

I was really excited to bring these home.. its so hard for a lot of women to find earbuds that stay put (I have particularly tiny ears, too) .. alas 😕 .. while the wingtips hold nicely, the buds themselves are just a bit too big. They end up putting a great deal of pressure on the cartilage surrounding them. Using the pause/play/skip buttons result in searing pain. I can usually get about 30-45 minutes, before the ache sets in. It's a bummer too, because the audio quality is nicely balanced. Not as deep or punchy as the Powerbeats Pro, but definitely crisp and clear. I hope Apple comes out with a new line of Powerbeats soon.. they really are the only 'buds on the market for smaller ears! .. I should note, I tend to wear my headphones for hours at a time, whilst working. Just in case anyone is on the fence about pushing through the pain. If you're feeling discomfort, I would strongly recommend returning them for the Powerbeats Pro!! The hooks and overall comfort are clutch for long term use. Maybe Apple will come out with a slightly smaller earbud for the next Fits generation?? Until then!

Wingtips definitely help make it feel very secure. However they aren’t the most comfortable imo. If you’re not using them while active, they still stay in pretty well without the wingtips tucked in and are pretty comfortable.

@@chiragsannecy793 so here’s the thing c they either fit your ear type or they don’t. I tried having my girlfriend try them on and she couldn’t even get them in her ear lol. If you have super small ears do not purchase them. For me the pain only comes when I wear them incorrectly.

I just picked them up from Best Buy today also! I actually returned my Sony WF-1000XM4 for them! I got Apple Care for them as well and still got a refund of 50 bucks! I have to say these headphones are very impressive and now will be my daily driver for my workouts! They are so comfortable, small, and lightweight compared to the Sonys! Notice canceling is just as good as the AirPods Pro’s, but for me the Pro’s would never stay in my ears when training. So I ended up having to sell them which was a sad day! Sad I am no longer finally Apple and Beats got it right!

@@sangeethsathishchandran6508 No. I just got the Beats Fit Pro. The XM4's are REALLY scary good. ANC is much better on the XM4's as well as the extra features that come with the Sony's. The Fit Pro does fit better, nicer and more comfortable when working out. The XM4 have a hard rubber ear tip which makes them uncomfortable (for me at least), I couldn't stand using them while working out. Not to mention they are pretty bulky. If you had the galaxy buds pro or tried them, I would rate the ANC on the fit pro's as better than those.

The beats are literally just the AirPod pros with a different body and logo then, Apple Owns beats and use the same technologies. Glad to hear, I’ll be buying the pink ones for sure, my AirPods Pro’s sound great but I want that wing

Has anyone had discomfort in their cartilage? I noticed once I start applying any amount of pressure to my ear my ear starts to hurt and feel sore. Love the headphones but it's a huge turn off, so I'm hoping there's a work around

Yes!! Big time. I think the size of the actual earbud is just a bit too big for me.. puts burning pressure on the cartilage. I went back to my Powerbeats Pro, for the time being. I keep the Fits on hand for short term use, in case the household is driving me nuts 🤣 (ANC is the one thing I'd love to see on the next gen Powerbeats) ... of course, your comment was 2 months ago! I'm likely not helping at all with my response, huh??! lol Did you ever find the sweet spot for wearing these, or was the pain unavoidable??

Can anyone answer my question here.. I have the powerbeats pro for the gym. They do not fall off because of their behind the ear silicon cord. But powerbeats pros are little bit on the heavier side both from the pov of buds and case size. So these look more slim and light. My main question is do they fall off easily..? Or they will stay in my ears like powerbeats pro..?

They won't fall but if your ear is too small it probably won't fit properly or you can feel pain while wearing them because of the wingtips.

I’m using mine with comply foam tips. Two things I hate about them after wearing them for 3 12-hr shifts since I picked them up friday morning on release date is the flimsy all plastic case with no metal latch (can sorta be fixed with a good rubber case/cover), and transparency mode is buggy. When in transparency mode, in a quiet environment, the mics pick up very faint wind noise which whooshes in either ear the entire time (needs to be fixed in an update). If transparency mode isn’t fixed, I’m returning these and going back to my airpod pros. Definitely a toss up between airpod pros and these since right now with black friday pricing, the airpods dropped to 10$ less than the price of Beats fit pro.

What you're complaining about with the transparency mode is a problem across nearly all the devices with ANC that I've tried, I think it's because they use a mic or something similar to cancel the sounds. What I found always helped if I knew I'd be out on a windy day was simply putting up my hood if I could.

I’ve had these for a month or so now and HATED them because they kept falling off 😭 changed eartips a thousand times but never found the right one (between S M L) i’m writing this comment at the gym right now because I was fixing my left ear, which, as you may have guessed, was falling and accidentally pressed the wing tip INTO my ear (that part it’s supposed to go under) and I was like - wait a minute 😭😭😭😭 watched this video and it all makes sense now. wow!

The features do not outweigh the pain. For such a high price point to not have wing tip options is outrageous. One of my ears has been so sore for over a day after just 2 hours of use. Do not convince yourself to keep these thinking the pain will stop. I'm going to go back to Jay Bird or any other brand with quality and common sense in regards to long term comfort.

I have used them for a couple of weeks now. The sound quality is impressive. The noise cancellation is top of the game. However, with the tip winged in the cartilage, they’re causing discomfort for me. I have tried different tip sizes (small, medium and large). The discomfort is still there. I can’t wear them for three hours straight! I’d say if all these features had come with the external piece like in the previous Beats Pro, life could be much better.

@@lanecoleman1377 please take a look at the comment lower in the comment section. Some mentions that you want to place the tip towards the rear of your ear and not forward which causes more pressure. Hopefully that makes a difference. Worth a shot to check the comfort level.
