Question, so i installed it, it worked fine. Shut the car off and put everything back together. Came back out a few hours later and when i go to hold the map button, it’s just a purple screen. Please help!

Hi Eric, I purchased the Beat Sonic Car Play adaptor for my 2015 RX450h a few months ago and couldn't be happier. I'm going to be taking a road trip with my husband and would like to alternate which phone is connected to car play. I couldn't find anything online that was particularly helpful so I'm asking you on this forum in case others have the same question.

Best way to switch phones once both phones are paired to the system is to turn off Bluetooth and wifi on the phone that you want to disconnect (from the settings menu and not the drop down shortcut menu as it will reconnect if you use the shortcut), then on the phone you want to connect to, connect car’s Bluetooth from the native lexus screen. Then, on the phone go to settings -general -carplay nv17w and double press carplay to refresh the connection. It should take about 10 seconds once you get used to it

Like will there be a screen, have the ability for wired or wireless car play, ready this year or next? Ive come across a great deal on a non nav Rx, but I’d rather wait for a nav version if I won’t be able to have a screen/car play. I keep my cars for a long time and my current one does not have these features, so I would like to have them in my new (to me) car. Kinda time sensitive 😅, thanks!

1. 3-5 seconds. Our device will fully load before the lexus system has the time to fully initialize. 2. Both WiFi and Bluetooth needs to be turned on 3. Yes you can use carplay with the usb cable

Hi Eric. I just installed my unit and whenever I press the MAP button on my factory center console, it triggers Google Assistant. This is in addition to the usual short press of MENU button that should trigger Google Assistant. How can I fix this? Google Pixel 8 Pro (latest version) Android Auto is up to date.
