This is something to truly be proud of. Not only because of the division one rating and the fact that I graduated from this high school but it breaks sooo many steorotypes amongst predominetly black high schools. I am a currently a Music Education major at the University of Washington in Seattle and was a former member of the National Famous Fightin Texas Aggie Band at Texas A&M during my undergraduate years. It is refreshing to see that there is progress. Still there is so much work to be done.
