The best part of this is that since each peice maxes out the armor rating, you can just wear like the gauntlets, enchant them with fortify destruction or whatever, and then mages can wear their robes and hoods. It's great.

You can't clip through walls as far as I can tell, so the hidden chests outside and underneath the map are unreachable with the Unofficial Patch mod. I keep it in my mod library for easy access just in case, but it is not downloaded.

It didn't work for me the first time until I make some research and there is actually another ingredients for fortify restoration : Yellow mountain flower.. But.. You need dawnguard DLC and it can be found in Ancestor glades east of Falkheart hope this will help someone :)

Everyone this still works on all versions (PC, PS3, Xbox360). This will never get patched. The only problem I have with this only on the PC version if you make too high percentage potions you might CTD (crash to desktop). STEPS: Remember, you need at least 2/5 Alchemist (I prefer 3/5) , 1 Physician and 1 Benefactor to help get this glitch going. Make sure your 4 pieces of gear heave have at least 8% Alchemy enchant on each piece, make the potion, take the gear off, drink the potion, and re-equip the gear. Then repeat the process over until desired results. Also great video xBeau keep up the excellent videos!

I'm currently at level 41 smithing and the iron daggers leveling method is way too slow. I'm confused, because it says "weapons and armor will improve x%" so does that only apply when improving weapons and armor at a workbench or grindstone? Or does it work with creating weapons and armor in general?

A few tips from experience: 0. Use the agro vendor regen trick to find the ingredients you need fast. 1. Make 4-10 enchant potions first time through so you have plenty of time to enchant. 2. Don't make your alchemy gear too OP or your enchantments could crash the game. +10000% alchemy is more than enough. 3. If selecting enchants is crashing the game, use petty soul gems and select them BEFORE you select the enchantment. 4. Your first 4 enchanted items should be a full OP fortify alchemy set. That way you can make more enchant potions if you need them. 5. If your gear is not OP enough, use the fortify resto glitch a few more times with your better alchemy gear. 6. If you don't have dual enchantment, put your enchanted gear in your favorites so you can switch gear fast. Fun things to do: 1. Use the fortify resto glitch on an amulet of Talos with a high resto potion. You will have instant shout recharge. This should last until you take the amulet off. 2. Get the gloves of the pugilist enchant on something. Kill dragons with a single punch. 3. Using your OP alchemy gear, you can make paralysis poison that last days. Use this on annoying NPC's that wont die. 4. Selling high enough value potions will level your speech to 100 instantly, you can legendary speech to do this over and over. You can use this to get to 81 in a matter of minutes.

You do not need both Abecean Longfina AND Cyrodylic Spadetail. Just one of the two fish together with Saltpile will do. Using both fish is just wasting ingredients, you only need one of them for the same result.

This exploit can also be used to quickly level up and regain perk points. Once you can make potions, improve armour or enchant items thousands of percent better, the skill enhancement for each action rises astronomically. I reset alchemy to 15 after reaching the highest level (100), and had it back to 84 after making only a few stupidly powerful potions - no more than 6! Same with smithing. But as I said below, game enjoyability can decrease markedly with these kind of exploits.

A neat trick to this, is to have the ingredients for a smithing boost potion when you're doing the enchanter, and get them all at once, as well as having the exact number of ingredients that you plan to use for it. That way you don't make any mistakes because once those ingredients run out, you know to move onto the next potion in the list that you're making. Since I was using the enchanting video as my reference, I combined this and that one, so when I stepped up to the alchemy table I already had abecean longfin x9, a blisterwort, cyradilic spadetail x2, hagraven claw x10, salt pile x9, snowberries x12, and spriggan sap x3. (9)longfin+(9)salt pile x9 using the method in the enchanter video then (12)snowberries+(10)hag claw x10 once I got to that part (2)spadetail+(2)snowberries+(2)+(3)spriggan sap finally (1)blisterwort+(1)spriggan sap. 39820 max enchant boost (several enchant potions, that was the highest one), 159279 smith boost

ATTENTION you don't have to rush when you hit the fortify enchanting potion. Just make 2 of them, get a follower, go to dragons reach, drop them, tell follower to pick them up, go in dragon reach, when it loads leave immediately, and your items should duplicate(if they don't just try it again... I did this the hard but legitimate way... I created a F-enchantment potion then created a decent F-Alchemy enchantment set of armor Then made a stronger. F-enchantment set which I make a stronger F-Alchemy potion with. Then use that stronger potion to make a stronger F-enchantment set with.. I just keep repeating this!

i actually spent hours doing what the video says, then i realized that i didn't need to because i have the pc version. if u have the pc version, all you need to do is type '~' to bring up console command. then type 'player.setav smithing 100000'. this will give you 100,000 smithing skill level, which will allow you to craft armor and weapons with legendary strength, just like in this video. don't worry, it won't crash the game. you can do the same with enchanting skill in order to enchant your armor and weapons with high enchants. you can fortify sneaking on armor high enough to make you invisible to enemies. and it doesn't have to be 100,000. you can set it lower to keep your game still competitive, or you can set it higher to make your strength really crazy. the best thing is, with the console command method you don't have to worry about all those dang potions or their 30 seconds time limit. you can take your time when you do this and do it right.

+river rat There's a big difference between exploiting a potential oversight and straight up cheating. While this is out of control OP, you still have to work at it. It still takes an hour or two, minimum, of play time, even if you use all the little secrets you're not supposed to know about (like the secret chest in Dawnstar or Whiterun). You might say "If you're going to use the loop anyway, why not just use the console? Isn't it the same thing?" You might as well say "If you're going to make 100% magic reduction gear, why not just use the console? Isn't it the same thing?" or "If you're going to wear Dragon Armor anyway, why not just use the console? Isn't it the same thing?" No, it's clearly not. You can make dragon armor and high-end weapons within a couple hours of playing, completely without the loop. That's about how long this takes to get going.

The restoration potion isn’t what boosts alchemy. It boosts the enchantments already on the armor which are based around enchanting and smithing.

So I made it, and after some time I enchanted my things of Daedric. Then, while I was on the road to Helgen, Lydia suddenly disappeared without a trace. The worst thing was that I had my Daedric stuff on her (due to carrying capacity). Or mabey I am remembering wrong, and she just died for some reason and I couldn't carry enough to take the Daedric with me, I went to one of my homes, loaded off my stuff, came back to the disappearance of Lydia or death, And too bad. Doing that to armor was useless due to scripted armor cap of 567. However, doing that to a bow pretty much means it makes no difference will you use rare and expensive high end arrows or junk arrows.

This glitch is still working, BUT be careful... -Don't make more than 1 potion whatever you try to do bc soon as you finished with the 1st potion the rest will be gone from your inventory! -Take off every already enhanced item bc if you leave it/them on the game will crush! -Don't go mad with the strength of the potion bc if it's too strong the game will not let you do anything! -Over enchanted weapons CAN NOT be recharged with soul gems bc none of them powerful enough! -Bit of a health, stamina, armor and some demage upgrade on the weapons will do the job.

Tolvalds cave NNW of Riften and due E of fort Amol near Ivarstead has literally hundreds of glowing mushrooms. Shimmermist cave, SE of Dawnstar and NE of whiterun has lots too. Shimmermist has hundreds of Chaurus Eggs I think as well . Fort amol has a bound bow spell book in a bucket hidden under another book.

Fortify smithing ingredients are 1.blisterwort 2 glowing mushroom 3 sabre cat tooth 4 spriggan sap any 2 combined should work. More ingredients than 2 might be better but I havent tried it.

it was not fixed. I just did it yesterday and my game is updated. My alchemy was 5/5 for more powerful potions as well as two rings, a necklace, hide bracers and a hide helmet all at 25% increased Alchemy. I made a bunch of fortify restoration potions and then fortify enchantment when it got high enough. I imbued gloves with 51K% Alchemy and Smithing. Plus made a bunch of Fortify Enchanting potions between 8K-10K%. I could go higher, but there is no need. On legendary, I am a God. I am using PS4. I don't know if that makes a difference.

I just tried this out today in Skyrim SE. This should work in all base games as you are creating a Fortify Restoration spell essentially . Use to be a spell on old TES games but not this one really unless you do this. However i found if you do this trick with enchanting it basically lets you create enchanting potions that give you MAX CAP enchants with one potion.

being 3 years later we now have the mods for Master Enchanter Gloves. Use those to make a set of Blacksmith clothes, drink a Blacksmith Elixr and you get crazy strong weapons and armor. You can also use the Master Enchanter Gloves to make a Enchanting outfit for use with the gloves to make super enchantments. Combine that with the mod Enchant 3 effects and you got some crazy shit.

Dipshit u have to have at least 30 abecan longfins for a scrubby alchemist like u u hv to do the oghma infinium glitch to juice up faster by doing this u need to delete the patch and restart ur game then u reach level 15 and do the quest for the Fukin book the you do the oghma glitch and lvl up ur alchemy skill then u get ur supplies whatever then do the glitch all over again it took me 2 and a helf hours for this BS but it's still worth it

Though the numbers go up the armor cap is 567 without a shield and 667 with a shield, damage reduction is capped at 80%. You can go over 100% spell absorption though.
