HAPPY PRIDE!!! This look turned out beautiful as always! And for people that gave you crap about not posting a Pride look the first of the month, wtf?? It's all month but not just all month but everyday! Pride is not just the first couple days of June and they're not really supporting in the right way if that's how they're gonna act. It's about love is love, not how many rainbows you can show off. I'm also bi and am in a straight passing relationship. My family knows but they don't really get it but they have always been supportive.

I actually went to the Stranger Things Experience in San Francisco tonight and it was fantastic! There was a group of young girls in my group and they cried with excitement when the actor portraying Eleven made her appearance and that was such a sweet thing to see! I love this look! I wish I had a lot of colorful liquid liners to do a big rainbow wing. I bet I could make them though with duraline and eyeshadow, that's just messy and a lot of work hahaha. Just a wet brush can basically do it too.

I'm Bi as well and get the surprised reactions sometimes since my husband and I have been together for almost 8 years. But my friends and family have known for a couple decades so it's just every once in a while now. We just moved a month ago back to Long Beach, CA, which is one of the queer meccas of SoCal and I couldn't be happier. We were about an hour inland where it's much more conservative for 6 years. I was at a craft store called Joanne's getting some yarn and they had a whole pride display. I was like, oh yeah, I'm in Long Beach again! Happy Pride, your look came out awesome. 💗💜💙🌈🦄🦚🦜🏳️‍🌈

I might like the eye primer if I mix it with some color drops like the no. 7 or cover fx the ones that adjust foundation. I need a tinted eye primer and so far I don't like a single one I've tried. The Natasha Denona is the best for me but it's very pink based and it almost adds shine to matte shadows. I typically have to just use the nars soft matte concealer or a different smoothing concealer. Eye primer makes my lids look so dry and crackled lol. It's like I have dry skin bits all over, if it's tinted. If it's not my veins shine through and it's not pretty. When I was younger I just used foundation everywhere and set my lid lash to brow with a satin nude shadow but that doesn't work anymore.

Btw, sorry if I was over-explaining about being pan and how it’s similar to bi; I guess I hadn’t heard you talk about being bi before. A lot of people who aren’t in the community haven’t heard of pan, so I guess I assume I need to explain it a little, but you probably already knew all about it! I’m also in a straight-passing relationship so sometimes I feel a little less “valid” to celebrate too, I understand that feeling, but we’re just as valid as everyone else! You still count, Betty-Jean ❤️ I agree that it’s much more about how you live and support the community all year round instead of just in June, I’m sorry some people were rude to you that you weren’t posting rainbows the second the calendar turned over! This is actually my first year celebrating pride month as a member and not just an ally (long story, but a lot of religious trauma and not feeling “gay enough” to count sort of feelings that I finally got over) but I don’t think there’s anything happening near me and I’ve been having a hard time with my autoimmune illness so traveling more than a few miles isn’t happening. 😆 Oh well, maybe next year! I can still celebrate inside and be proud of myself for finally figuring stuff out! Last thing - I LOVE what’s going on with your hair, the colors are so gorgeous!! I’m already a colorful accessory person, so it doesn’t make much of a different. Life has been a little tough the past week. I think it’s the heat tbh. I hate summer. The Bright palette also comes in all matte in that same size. So there is an orange. Is somebody wants the small one. I thought you would use Berries for a little hint of pink! This look is really pretty though I love seeing people use Beauty Bay. I have a lot of their palettes lol there’s only a few I never got. Mostly it was those Disney palettes.

Thanks for speaking about bi erasure. As a bi/ace spectrum (BOTH part of LGBTQIA2S+--the A is for asexual!) in a straight passing relationship it is hard. It's hard coming out, hard being out, hard being taken seriously, and as someone who is also ace spectrum (for me that means sex is fine and good sometimes but it's not my life and my drive is small, but it means different things to other Aces) honestly for me I just don't wanna talk about sex all the time. While obviously pride is not only about sex, the fact that I'm in a hetero marriage makes explaining myself exhausting and I'm at the point in life where I just don't wanna do it and live my life supporting my far more marginalized friends, family, and beyond. I don't do videos but people really don't realize, don't care, or can't even imagine what it must feel like to get a slew of criticisms when you're just a human like anyone else. Happy Pride:)

I'm from the 90s/00 teen generation where it was very much a culture of "labels are for cans" way of being in the closet. so despite commenting here and there like this, i very much still feel and essentially am closeted. but happily married so I pick my battles. (this isn't advice just an explanation lol--very much realize this might be unhealthy if my situation were any different than it is) I'm grateful for the younger people that feel way more open and accepting from a much younger age. Literally no one was out and proud even in my artsy HS in NYC in the early 00s.

My favorite Sims game ever was Castaway on the Wii. I am bi too in a straight passing relationship and always feel weird during pride month since I am closeted to everyone except close friends. Most people just assume I am an ally. I plan to possible go to our pride festival downtown which is Saturday as well. This fun look is encouraging me to go even though I don't get out much. First of all, I love that you talked about The Sims! I've been playing since Sims 1 which means I am really old. 😁I will say that Sims 3 was my favorite version of the game, but it is so slow even on modern computers (the game was released 12 years ago!). And you really need good CC to make the Sims look decent which makes it even worse. And your rainbow eye look is amazing! The blending is impeccable.

Happy Pride! yes, my icon is a BI Pride Dragon all year round.. but you (and everyone in the LGBTQA+ community) do not owe ANYONE a rainbow (tee, tank, shorts, makeup, etc). I also avoid PRIDE events because my relationship is hetero passing (spoiler alert, we're both part of the community), and I don't have the time, energy, or desire to deal w/ anything other than the cool vibes of support from people I love.

But I'm going to Chicago this week and will be wedding dress shopping for the first time, and then going to see Six: the Musical. I'm so unbelievable excited. And I might be going to the Chicago Pride festivities this weekend. I don't know that I'm doing anything specific for pride. I live in a very rural area so unless it's a big holiday there aren't parades or anything. My oldest daughter is a lesbian. No one cares lol. I mean she's very fortunate to not have to deal with a lot of adversity, especially in her family. Her biological dad once said he wouldn't support a gay child or something ridiculous like that, but she hasn't seen him since she was 12 so she hasn't had to deal with him being a douche to her. I worry though because she hasn't experienced adversity that she's not aware that it's still out there and I don't want her to be hurt either physically or emotionally by narrow minded people if that makes sense.
