Nakuru looks like a smaller version of Nairobi. It should be Kenya's fourth largest city BUT after Nairobi, mombasa and Eldoret. Kisumu with its old, single storey buildings on the downtown area should not feature anywhere, which means that even kisii, Malindi, Machakos and kakamega are better off.
@1devoch2 жыл бұрын
Kisumu looks nicer, cleaner and better planned than Nakuru. Mombasa has a lot of old buildings too.
@oumaedwin1982 жыл бұрын
Make Nakuru and Eldoret one if you can . Infact those dukawallas in Kisumu should never be demolished.They are a heritage. Infact Nyongo said the same thing . Mombasa too has old buildings in Old Town . Nakuru is being overtaken by Eldoret .The only problem for Eldoret is too many buildings cramped in small area . It sad that our towns with very small population are chockng from congestion and lack of proper planning .Look at Kisii ,too congested for nothing .

Lewis, are you even living in Kenya. You can't compare Nakuru to kisumu in all aspects.. just one trip around that city and dolphin has already covered the whole Nakuru CBD and some estates. Tell me the part of CBD she has not covered, may be along the main highway... You can't compare kisumu with Nakuru... Even in term of size eldoret beats Nakuru and now you're comparing it with kisumu. Tembea kisumu alafu utafunga mdomo kabisa. Kisumu is not a one street city like Nakuru. Kisumu CBD alone is twice bigger than nakuru. Just because Nakuru has many 5 floors buildings grouped together along Kenyatta street makes you have a feeling that it is now worth comparing with kisumu....
