Acutually it's 2.5x3mm (smallest size of swarovki bicone) but you can use 3x3mm bicone. On the other hand, you can use 3mm rondelle too.

Es hilo de nailon, marca Miyuki de Japón. Su grosor es de 0,2 mm. Pero puedes usar cualquier hilo de nailon que ya tengas. También puede utilizar Fireline.

Yes, you can. It's better if your thread is strong enough and its size about 0.16 - 0.2mm.

I have no clue how the very first step is done. If my tail is just under half the needed thread, that puts my needle near center. So how do I create that loop and get the first set of beads threaded without pulling double strands through. This is an incredible looking design. I’m guessing it’s a simple technique, but I just can’t seem to see it. I will try to search for some type of close up examples if I can. Thank you for sharing.

In simple terms, you have a long thread, the first end is called point A, the middle point is called B and the other end is called C. As mentioned in the video, we will start from the middle (point B ), which means your needle will be at point C. We use single thread. The first step is like taking C's head through a bead and then tying it at point B. Now you don't need to care about point A, segment AB is like a piece of redundant thread. After we are done with one side (segment BC) we will do the same with segment BA. I hope you will understand how I do it.
