BEAUTIFUL as you ARE

When we talk about gestures of love, the most common ones we think of are hugs, kisses, or simply the words, “I love you”. But not everyone expresses love in the same way. And often, cooking a good meal for someone is an important gesture of love.
We cook with our hearts as much as with our hands, because when we cook for other people, it's to make them happy and content. And possibly the greatest payment that you could receive for your efforts is seeing the people at the table, enjoying what you’ve prepared for them.
So the next time you sit at the table, be thankful not only for all that has been prepared for you with time and care, but also for that person who loves you, who thought about you with every stir of the spoon, with every dash of salt, with every teaspoon of oil. We should take a moment to appreciate all that they've done for us. They deserve it. And gratitude is a form of love too!

I used to be one of those who said "it's just a dog/cat." However, I had the privilege of fostering a cute little bundle of joy recently...a puppy that had been abandoned. He would argue with me, sulk at me, be stubborn when I told him not to eat paper. Parting with him after 10 days...when he found his forever home...was incredibly painful. That's when I realized how precious they are. I don't think I will ever look at pets the same way again.

Too funny! When I was a young girl I had at one time 13 cats! My mom and dad were beside themselves! One day coming home from visiting Aunt Kitty and Uncle Sparky, we were at the stop sign at the corner of our Avenue, and this kid David was crossing at the intersection and was coaxing a bunch of my cats to follow him home! I yelled out the window and asked, David what are you doing with all those cats!? He said, I don't know, I thought I'd just bring some of them home with me to my house because there were 1000's of them, just 1000's of them down there! 🤣🤣 I yelled at David, hey those are MY CATS!!! This brought back some really funny and great memories of my childhood. I've always had animals I live on a small horse farm and I have 5 barn cats, 2 big barn dogs, and one little house dog Rico! I have two old horses Cinco 31, and Chief 21! I've had them all since they were born! I love to cook too and enjoy serving my specialties to my 5 children and their spouses. I'm Italian and we love to eat! Great video, she is a kindred spirit! Love the VW beetle too, and her lights, I have the same lights and ambience in my back yard and barn too! 💜2💜

I am grieving for the loss of my Sweet Sir Ryley boy, my sweet pup passed just before his 8th birthday. I had to let him go, he was suffering from cancer. He brought so much joy and love to my life.
