New sub brother. Also from Ohio. We are one in the same in our fandom of the Weller Green. I like it so much more than the Red, so much that I don't tater for it when it drops at all lol. I don't own a bottle yet.

Welcome to the show!! Glad to meet with another Ohioan. Next year we have a Maker’s flight planned so if you have it, drink alongside.

13:50 You're right - I've never seen it. 😂 In fact, the only Weller I've seen here is the Special Reserve (and I have to disagree with you on it - I find it merely good, nothing more). Howsomever, it might be that some day more Weller will appear in Albuquerque - for a long time I never saw Buffalo Trace, and now whenever I think to check I see it, and there've been two or three times now I've seen the green label Weller. 22:54 I buy whisky to drink. My view is that a) I enjoy drinking good whisky, and b) distilleries make whisky for people to drink, so therefore c) if I ain't a-gonna drink it I ain't a-gonna buy it. 🙂 28:44 We've had "caramel, if you have a degree," we've had the "gawgeous ice spheah," and we've had the finger stir. That means we've had an official Bourbcast. 🙂

I think my Weller 12 has a screw top, my Weller antique 107, and Weller full proof both have corks 😊

I tried to check but I'd have to open them to find out because of the foil. I don't want to open those others until I get the Single Barrel.

Do Johnnie Walker 18 year ")
@beautifulbourbon5 күн бұрын
I'd have to FIND Johnnie Walker 12 year. According to our state database (ohlq.com), the 18 year is sold in my state, but not the 12 year.

It's an acquired taste. Maybe started with a bourbon that's rested in a peated barrel.
