Hi Ilene! Isn’t it nice to have a leather bag that feels like solid leather? So many handbags are so thickly coated that you don’t even see the natural qualities of the leather. I also put everything in pouches for security. I do like a zip closure, but I find the strap closure is fine when you use pouches. I had a Dooney small Shannon tote in black Florentine.When I watched your video on your suede Shannon, I decided to get a natural Florentine. It’s such a great bag, and I got a really great price, which made it even better!😉. Glad you have such beautiful weather. It’s been a cloudy week here with finally some rain today. Hi Susan, Thank you! I completely agree with what you said about the quality of the leather. I am now spoiled by GFG's thick leather. It is amazing! I had the Shannon in Black Florentine in my cart yesterday. Then, Go Forth Goods posted their sale. The good thing about Dooney is they always have sales. I do want to add a Black Flo Shannon to my collection. It seems I look to carry GFG items first. I am thinking of selling several of my Coach and not buying any more. Thank you!! I haven’t seen the new every day handbag. It is good to know that they are making their bags lighter in weight. I have an item from them which I purchased for my husband. He feels it is heavy for him, and he is much stronger than I. I am really so happy with Go Forth Goods products. I am at a point where I am purchasing from only one company now. I am no longer purchasing from businesses such as Coach. I feel it might be time to wind down. I am approaching my mid 70s and I ran out of storage room . I hope you enjoy the bags that you have. hAVE you tried the portland leather..i am really liking the Portland leather ..just bought the over sized black pebble tote with smooth leather black straps..i just received the large tote in storm with honey straps it is so pretty. ..i like go forth goods but Portland leather is way less expensive and that brand is starting to grow on me...just wondering if you've tried portland leather.

Hi, I was a member of the Portland group. I left the group soon after I joined. I never purchased their bags but I have watched many of the KZbin videos. I found Go Forth Goods after Coach Craze showed us her purchase in her video. I was/am very impressed with the texture of the leather, the lifetime guarantee and their customer service. Their many styles and customization options have surpassed my expectations. I have a closet filled with nothing but GFG bags, each of which is unique. Also, I love that it is made in America. Everyone has their own taste, likes and dislikes. I watch all the videos on this type of bag. I'm not closed-minded.
