Beautiful Day Kayaking Around Freshwater Bay. 8/28/24

Only yakked Freshwater Bay once and the wind and waves were a bit much for me to want to risk it with the kids n the tandems. Those cliffs look amazing to explore. Need to take my SOT and dry suit and have another go at it. BTW, another nice spot to explore some rocky shoreline is to go past Mt. Walker and launch from the beach that belongs to the owners of Yelviks store. Pulali point has a nice sea cave on the other side of it and the shoreline around Jackson Cove is pretty nice. Lots of bald eagles in May. Someone a few years back got some incredible humpback footage there.
