I love the tree in the last DIY!! SO pretty! Only detail I would have added was to paint the tree trunk and limbs all the way up the tree. It would make the tree more detailed than it already is. Looks awesome! 🌲🌲

With the Christmas tree, I would put some of that fake snow that comes in a cream form, and put it across the top, heavier in one corner, and slightly dripping down, like the top of a candle. Hard to describe, but think of snow in the top corner of a window pain

I saw the borax thing recently and gave it a go... however I did two things wrong: 1. Didnt measure and thus didnt have enough borax. 2. I used the metallic acorn and pumpkin from DT and somewhere got the idea that I should scuff with sandpaper. Big mistake. It ate away most of the metallic paint and left it a weird color. I did get some pretty sparkles but not crystals. Think I'm going to spray them white and give it another go.
