It's such a sticky adhesive and having used the dollar tree faux leather stickers I actually wasn't terribly worried about them laying flat. 🙃

It's smooth to feel on the outside but you can still see all of the texture if that makes sense.

Would it help placing the wrap onto parchment paper first? Kinda like when layering vinyl to line everything up.

I'm honestly not sure it actually lined up relatively easy and since this product wasn't exactly inexpensive (actually it's less expensive per sheet than some printed vinyl 🤷‍♀️) and that adhesive is extremely sticky I'm not sure I'd risk it. I'd have to test a cut off piece stuck to parchment or even a vinyl backer...
