Yes, it’s beautiful, they have cheaper rooms too, from about $35AUD per night. I wanted the room we stayed in, which is a bit more.

We had a really long drive to Alor Setar, we had to leave Malaysia because our 90 days were just about up, it was our longest drive, about 6 hours, roughly. We usually only drive a couple of hours, often less.
