Beautiful GIRLS TRIP free-diving Rainbow River

Took a little road trip to dive Rainbow River with my best friend in today's video! Brooke and I had so much fun cruising up river in my skiff & then jumping in, I hope you guys love the video! My favorite part was definitely when I snuck up on a huge bowfin while he was sleeping and even got close enough to touch him until he woke up with me in his face. lol Crazy clear cold water, check out all of their info below if you and your family want to check it out too! Grew up in Florida, studied Marine Biology there and lived at the Gulf, it was always a treat to go diving at Rainbow Springs. Looks like you had a great time......your fishing content is cool too......we owned several Marinas and so grew up fishing the bays in Sarasota. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

Always so pretty there, I’ve spent a lot more time in the Withlacoochee River but I’ve also swam with the Manatee’s at Crystal River and Weeki Wachee! Beautiful water in the springs though!!

Even closer to me than the previous Clear Spring video you posted lovely scenery and breath taking views and oh yea the Springs were nice too! (I'm here all week) keep up the good work. Oh and running a motorboat over those springs maybe not such a good idea lot of oil and gas leak into the water which eventually if done enough limits visibility!

It's been years since I've been there. I remember it being exactly what your video shows. I had an encounter with a Gator next to shore when trying to exit the water to try out a rope swing I found. Freaked me out. Glad the water was so clear, or I wouldn't have seen it.

Appreciate the video. Those were freshwater fish, and I have never fished freshwater that was so clear. Must be Florida?? I live in Massachusetts and everywhere I fish freshwater is stained from the iron in the water. I had a well put in and the company told me the water we get is from New Hampshire! That's 3 hours away!

you need to go check out crystal river seeing how close you are. Im pretty sure three sisters springs is still open but it's going to be closing for 8 months for repairs to the shoreline.

The color of the water and plants resemble as the Azumini river of Nigeria, except that the Azumini river is much deeper with white sand and colorful little stones 😍

Winter time is the best time to swim there. At 72°F year round it feels like bath water (getting out is another thing). In the summer with the heat in the high 90s the water feels like ice during the initial getting in.

Wet suit friend, head to toe. Less than 200 bucks and you'll be snorkeling in the winter.

you need to get a pre-tan going layout a bit with some sunscreen once you noticed you got a base tan you should be okay or you're a ginger and you're just screwed lol sorry

You need to dive in a wetsuit, I dive in a 9mm suit in water with a temperature of +1 degrees Celsius, if the water is warm, a 3mm suit and you will be happy, greetings from Russia

@@sergeantc4073 Because right now the Air temperature here (I live near by) is in the high 90s and with the water @72°F year round it feels colder getting in. In the winter the water feels warmer when Air temperatures are below 70°F... Either way our springs in Florida are 72°F. year round. Feel free to look it up. I have been going to Rainbow Springs since 1970 back when it was an Attraction.
