Thanks for the video, the Swallowtail lighthouse is my favourite one (of the few this Albertan has seen). I've been to Grand Manan twice, it's so beautiful!

Thanks for the quick visit. Lots of great trails around the island and also an airport. I spent a couple of days there 5 years ago and took lots of photos while I was geocaching.

+Michael MacISAAC There was one trail by a lighthouse (close to Swallow Tail) that I really wanted to go on but it was either the lighthouse or the trail and I decided on the lighthouse. Any trails you'd highly suggest? Heading to Saint John tomorrow so I might take it in :)

+John Morris There's a great little trail heading south from the ferry terminal that follows the coast line around to Pettes Cove. It's not very long but has some wonderful scenery.

+Michael MacISAAC first thing i did when i arrived was go around pettes cove....didnt walk er tho. Will have to next time! The waves were pretty calm so i bailed!

Lol most of us as islanders can't for the life of us figure out why there is no debit machine aboard the ferry! It's ridiculous! They claim spotty reception issues, but the wifi is mostly good except a couple of areas close to land, it's worth the chance! And summer is definitely the season to visit or early fall even. Enjoy! :)
