It is all relative actually, you speak of mining industry which has poisoned and destroyed massive amounts of land and water, agriculture and food industry which has enabled gmo, obesity, cancers and deforestation on levels never before seen. Life helping products that lengthen but do not necessarily enhance the quality of life but do enhance the pharmaceutical industry financially as well as allow the addiction of people who do not need help. Transportation which relies on fossil fuels and the negatives that creates. Globalization of people has brought us more hatred and intolerance across the globe from religious persecution and xenophobia (ie current US and Europe) computer science along with chemical and metal industry has helped pave the way for better and more efficient means of killing larger numbers of people than have ever been thought of. SO while I do not disagree with your points they can be construed as far from the helpful and beneficial aspects you paint them to be. Just depends on how you look at it. There were a lot of positives to a life style centuries ago and there are millions of people who live that way today.

this is the song that our teacher plays everytime we start the subject and let us dance. If we cannot cooperate in this dance we will sing the right tune of the song and its funny how the boy's in our classroom dance infront of us.
