Welcome to our latest Thailand travel video! Join us on Koh Samui Travel 2023 as I take you on a beautiful Thailand temple tour. Koh Samui is one of the most famous islands in Thailand. Wat Plai Laem and Big Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Yai) are in the northeast of Koh Samui, the two famous temples in Koh Samui. The two temple's Thai names are วัดปลายแหลม and พระใหญ่ หรือ พระพุทธสันติทีปนาถ วัดพระใหญ่.

How to get to the two temples🚗
We use the Grab taxi software, from near Chaweng Beach to Wat Plai Laem, the price was about 350 baht.
From Wat Plai Laem to Big Buddha Temple, we took a taxi, and although the journey was only 4 minutes (1.3 km), the price was 150 baht.
How to Get to Koh Samui
Option One: By Airplane✈️
Pros: This is the most convenient way.
Disadvantages: Air tickets may sometimes be more expensive.
Option 2: Take a big bus from Bangkok or Phuket or other city, then take a boat🚌🚢
Pros: Possibly less expensive
Cons: Takes longer and more tiring
About accommodation
We choose a hotel near Chaweng Beach. Although Koh Samui is generally more expensive, we found a cheap hotel online. The accommodation price is about 700 baht per night.
🚨Since my room was near Bar Street, it was very noisy at night until after midnight. The hotel provided us with free earplugs. We fell asleep with earplugs.
🚨If you are a person who needs a quiet environment to fall asleep, when you book a hotel, it is best to check with the hotel if it is noisy around the hotel.
About food⚠️
Most of the food in the restaurants on both sides of Bar Street is a little more expensive, of course, there is also a small amount of cheap food here.
In Central Samui shopping mall, there is a food court called Beach Eat with cheap and delicious food. Next to the mall, there is a night market every night with cheap street food.

About Taxi⚠️
There are many taxis in Koh Samui. If you are afraid taxi drivers will charge high prices. You can use the Grab ride-hailing app, compare which price is cheaper and possibly find a lower-priced car.
About shopping
Central Samui shopping mall is probably the largest shopping mall in Koh Samui. There are also some small markets near the mall.
