Essa Cidade fantástica em que muitos de meus conterrâneos puderam aprender novos ofícios; completar sua Educação/Formação. E que serve de referência (no que tem de melhor e, infelizmente, por vezes em suas mazelas) para o resto do País. Mas uma coisa é certa: um país onde se estrutura uma metrópole como São Paulo pode tudo. O impossível não existe para o Brasil.

I had thought that the few buildings flown over at 2:43 would be the last ones the plane would fly over, and they were close enough. But to see a few more buildings at 2:53 even closer under the plane, I was surprised. I wonder if you could stand on the rooftops of those last buildings, and jump up and be able to touch the plane as it passes so incredibly close overhead.

One of the reasons is the Brazilian flight agency doesn’t allow them too high because of air traffic. This airport, Congonhas, is in the middle of the city, used for domestic flights. The international one, Guarulhos, was built far away, but is also already surrounded. São Paulo also has a lot of helicopter traffic, including a Uber helicopter service.

O De SP dá um banho em todos do continente americano e de países da Europa que conheci, exceto em extensão em alguns, com mais linhas. Só algumas estações de Moscou na Rússia são mais bonitas.

O fato de NY ter uma parte com vários edifícios bem mais altos (não são tantas centenas como vc diz) não muda o fato de que SP tem vários edifícios considerados altos em bem maior quantidade. Vejas os vídeos feitos por drone de Nova York (digite New York City - drone) para perceber que os muitíssimo altos estão bem mais concentrados apenas num "miolo", que é o distrito de Manhattan. Saiu dali, vc não vê tantos edifícios do padrão médio de SP e há também muitas casas e prédios baixos. E não precisa ser eu, uma brasileira, a afirmar isso. Veja comentários aqui de alguns americanos, como os de "raleighman3000". Traduzindo: "Nós não temos nada como isso na América (EUA)"; Uma pessoa respondeu que todo mundo chamava SP de a "Nova York da América do Sul" e ele rebateu: "Nova York não tem tantos edifícios altos como isso", complementando depois que estava bastante surpreso com todos aqueles edifícios e parabenizou o Brasil.

E nesses dois aspectos, Nova York dá de lavada em São Paulo. Em questão de qualidade, NY apresenta arquitetura das mais sofisticadas do mundo, enquanto SP 90% dos edifícios são blocos horríveis pintados de branco (salvo poucas regiões na cidade), e em questão de altura, para você ter ideia, o edifício mais alto de SP não entraria na lista dos 100 mais altos de Nova York. Aliás, o que é um prédio de 30 andares perto de um com mais de 100, como One World Trade Center ou Empire State em NY?

A more impressive skyline doesn’t exist. São Paulo May not have the height/architecture of a Hong Kong or NYC but the sheer scale is unmatched. So strange to think that so many people don’t even realize this city exists.

Kam, it's not allowed to build very high buildings in SPC, specially because of this airport (Congonhas) inside the city. São Paulo is very known in the Americas (excluding the US) and in other continents because Brazil exports TV series and soap operas to many contries (some can reach between 100 and 130 countries). If you live in the US, your country is very closed to foreign productions. Only the Latin community living there watches Brazilian productions dubbed in Spanish on channels like Unimás and Univisión. There is no opening for them on American channels, although many are dubbed in English. I believe that because there are many poor inmigrants from Latin America in the US, the whole region is underrated there.

O cara perguntou aos paulistas como a gente não se perde em Sp? em Sp? aí vc ja não sabe aonde termina sp e começa taboão da serra, ou osasco, ou são bernardo, ou diadema, ou poá, itaquá, e ferraz, ou embu das artes, por exemplo. mais como a base da cidade são as marginais, não é tão dificil assim, ainda mais por que sp tem estradas e avenida que cortam quase a cidade toda de leste a oeste, de norte a sul, só não fique louco quando andar na rua vergueiro ou na avenida sapopemba kkkk andar por dentro da cidade é uma coisa bem diferente de ver por cima esse mar de concreto, eu moro na cidade de Arujá e isso por que aqui fica colado com a zona leste de sp e eu nunca tinha ido nem em são miguel nos meus parentes, mais eu trabalho em Sp fazendo entregas em supermercados, então a gente acaba se acostumando, antigamente eu era loco pra conhecer sp, só conhecia por jornal, e quando em na cidade de são paulo pela primeira vez, vila maria eu fiquei todo retardado pela horizonte lotadasso de prédios, na segunda vez eu já atravessei a marginal tieê todinha pra ir em barueri, aí em fim quando fiquei adolescente começei a trabalhar rodando por sp, hoje tenho 25 e já conheci todos os 39 municípios da região metropolitana de sp, cara eu te falo é muito gostoso, cada cidade uma surpresa diferente, desde das mais grandes as micro cidades, como são caetano e jandira, me encantei quando começei descer as serras pra ir fazer entregas no litoral, e as cidades do interior, cara eu te falo, Sp é uma terra de outro mundo mermão. orgulho de Ser paulista.
