Hey I had to do my research because I have been window shopping from the USA and I saw that last castle you showed and the price was cheaper with another real estate company we have to be careful about jumping at the first deal that sounds good. I love what Africa is offering to us ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ and I have a open mind and I have my notes and again, thank you for showing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@DrAntoinetteLloydMD3 күн бұрын
Yessss we should definitely do our research! These are “asking” prices. Like in the States, or even more in Africa, you can negotiate. And it is not unusual for the price to be raised for certain groups of people. South Africa has great real estate with great prices and room for negotiation. 👍🏽
@heartofalion10403 күн бұрын
@ because when they said the price of the castle I said let look back at it because I remember the black people on the wall but I am not just looking at South Africa but other countries too and its good value and the money too because that’s the main factor because I am retired paramedic and fire chief it’s time to live good and smell the roses lol

Question: which development did you like the best and why ?
@DrAntoinetteLloydMD3 күн бұрын
That's difficult to say, because I didn't spend enough time to look at each community in detail, or talk to people living in the communities. But I like Waterfall City because of its lower cost apartments, in close proximity to the Mall of Africa. If I were looking for a large home, it may be Blue Valley or Eagle Canyon developments.

You don't have to live in the gated communities(estates), they're good, but you can also look at a suburb such as Bryanston or other Sandton suburbs, I think you would love it and the private security there is good.
@ToxxicMafia3 күн бұрын
she says she doesn't have that kind of money. Unfortunately The Real South Africa tour seems to mostly focus on very expensive properties, e.g At Steyn City they were only shown City Center apartments and those are more than twice the price of apartments elsewhere within Steyn City. `i hope they do realise that even within Midstream Estates there are gates with much cheaper houses than Midstream Heights
@abongiledlova4773 күн бұрын
@ToxxicMafia I hear you well and I don't disagree with you, but I think that some of the homes that appear on the market in Suburbs like Bryanston are similar prices to the Estates or gated communities that the Real South Africa has been looking at and there are new modern homes that get sold in Bryanston and other Sandton suburbs, some might be cheaper than a million dollars which is around 17 to 18 million Rands. That's why I advise this woman to look there, she must look at Property 24 app and find out about all the Sandton suburbs such as Bryanston and others she might find her perfect home there, it's a good location safe enough.
@abongiledlova4773 күн бұрын
@ToxxicMafia Midstream Estates is very good too, that's another very good option for sure.

The history of electric vehicles (EVs) in South Africa dates back at least 50 years, when the first self-powered EV landed on local shores. EVs have seen rapid uptake in recent years, but the idea of powering automobiles with electricity is nothing new - it dates back nearly two centuries.

No. This doesn't look like the US development. America uses wood to build houses. And there's a mold problem. These houses are build with bricks. No mold problem.
@DrAntoinetteLloydMD3 күн бұрын
@@sipnog3528 I was referring to the appearance of the community, not the house construction. But you are correct - some homes in America are built with wood. But not all American homes are built that way. Some are cement block, others are bricks, others are stone, or a combination. Several homes I lived in florida were built with cement block. Overall, I do like the quality of homes built in these upscale South African developments.

As an African American why should I go to South Africa and become part of the upper and middle class ignoring the vast wealth inequality of 90 percent of South Africans who look like me? I would be living a life of luxury behind maximum secured fences , and when I go to the store/mall, even the parking lots have fences and armed security. The moment you start speaking out against who is really holding our South African brotehrs and sisters back, they will ask you to board a plane and leave. So, I rather go to Kenya, Ghana, Uganda or Rwanda, their homes may not be as luxurious as the ones here, but we know who owns the land and economy.

I don't know where you get your info from bro but sounds like you've Googled it. I know you've never been to South Africa by exaggerating the level of crime here. Need armed security to go to the mall? You make me laugh. Just come over and experience the country and stop hating just cause you can't afford it. You'll find that you'll enjoy it better than America.
