Great stuff!! Was that taken in October last year? No way would it have been Dec/Jan! (going on the 10 month lag from Video to me watching now)

It wasn’t January and don’t think it was December, it would have been November or October, all I can really remember now is that it was towards the end of the year!

Lots of snow back then on the Southern alps foothills, and it did snow twice in Chch last October. Quite hilarious (embarrasing) to see what is left of our Air Force "jets" ie no Sky Hawks, no F16's, no F18's just turbo props 🤣

Yeah, the airforce definitely needs an upgrade, and infact they aren't even fighter planes! They are used as trainers!

Excellent. Mostly see plane spotters to the left off Wairakei road looking towards the terminal where Singapore A350 and Emirates A380 park up. And the Military aircraft to your left! ;-)

I guess the best spot is the Waimak side of the main runway? Judging by your videos. We have demarcation lines that we cannot cross....or all hell breaks loose!
