My island name is Mariposa not only cause it’s the Spanish word for butterfly but also because of that old Barbie mariposa movie and I wanted my island to be a mix of that movie. Cute, magical, and colorful

Magical! Loved the color scheme, path customs, and terraforming that went into the island. It felt like the tiny waterfalls added a gentle vibe to the landscape along with the white customs and flowers. I loved the stargazing area and how it was shaped intoa heart using the flowers. The elegance of the beach displays was lovely, loved the shell items and customs. The various second tier garden were just absolutely amazing, especially with the meteor shower happening in the background (most impressed with the cliff bridge as well). The wedding area was beautiful (loved the use of the iron garden benches), the movie area was adorable, and her home was nicely cozy :)Thank you for sharing this lovely island with us!

I don't even have this game yet, but these islands make me wanna buy it so badly... the amount of thought and work that must've gone into these is insane. I'd also like to point out this genius use of layering right here at 18:08, with the pine tree in front of the outdoor pool to the left, giving the illusion that the waterfall is filling the pool. Creative furniture placement like this is what separates islands like these from average ones. Absolutely love it and definitely taking notes if I ever get to customize my own island.

I see some islands in island tour videos that leave star fragments on the floor, I’m afraid to do that since some people are so ignorant that they steal little things like that on the floor, I had a zodiac fragment in front of Zucker’s house, (Maelle lives where his house used to be) and my friend took it and replaced it with a snowflake as if I wouldn’t notice.
