I have been binge-watching you a bit this week. I love silhouette stamps and your backgrounds just bring everything to life. Plus, you had me laughing out loud now and then with some of your comments/thoughts. I have learned so much and I’m looking forward to bringing out some forgotten stamps and trying some of your background techniques…splatter….faux bleaching…paint dots…whatever. Thank you! Gorgeous cards! 💕

I agree with Sharon. I love the art work. But honestly the easy conversation and humor is something I look forward to each day. I love listening to you, being American, your accent is awesome. Your cards are always so elegant. The way you take it step by step, often with rationale make me feel I can do it too!.

So happy to hear you say you use your crafting to keep you calm during adversity. I rely on it also when my husband’s cancer and son issue overwhelm me. I actually felt like it was wrong to spend time crafting during these bad times. So it helped me a lot to hear you do the same. Thank for sharing.

I totally agree - it's the washing powder, Jo. This is a world wide problem you see, so it has to be the washing powder :-) As always, I enjoy my time watching you create your cards. Thank you for the inspiration. I'm one of those crafters whose mojo has flown out the window, so your inspiration right now is very welcome. You card is lovely and you're right, it will be perfect for any number of occasions. Hope you and your family all get all better soon. God Bless ~ Lena xx

those cards are so lovely! I had to go on a hunt for the stamp and found it. I do love poppies and you certainly educated me. I just thought there were only red poppies. I saw a gorgeous photos of So Many Colors. Also I learned many butterflies are called a kaleidoscope. A few years ago I was watching a veterinarian show and they had a huge poster up with what all the groups of various animals are called and I took photos of it. It probably had butterflies but I don't recall. You cracked me up with the wash powder. My dad's been gone 32 years, but as a job he worked as an inspection foreman in a huge plant and walked 10 to 15 miles a day. When he retired he asked his wife what she was doing different with the laundry because his pants were shrinking LOL also just wanted to say that I love your amethyst ring. I'm slightly obsessed with the color purple so your card and your ring all made my heart Happy. 😊 also I subbed to your Channel. Oh and I wanted to say I am glad that your son is doing better and getting over covid.

Orh I feel your fears, as you know I have epilepsy, and I was terrified of getting covid. I did end up with it, and I was bad😰. My epilepsy started when I was about 12, but went much worse, when I was pregnant with my eldest. You melted my heart, when you said you sat by Mikey’s bed side. You are a truly wonderful lady❤️. Hi Jo from Victoria in Australia. I really love your work, it's beautiful, classy and inspirational. A while ago I purchased Lavinia's "Simmi" stamp after seeing it used somewhere on a card project (I am a card maker). Of course, since I bought it, I can't find the original inspiration, so I'm wondering if you have this stamp, whether you would consider doing a card project with it for a video? Kind regards, Heather :-)

Hi Jo, I have been watching your videos for DAYS now, LOL! They are fantastic!! I have a couple of questions regarding the acetate with the images on them. Does the stamp come with an image on acetate already? Do you stamp the images on acetate yourself? If you do it, what kind of ink do you use so that it doesn't smear and do you heat set it? Thank you!! I love the purple theme of this card!!
@JoRice3 жыл бұрын
Hi Shelly, thanks so much for watching these little videos. The Lavinia and Aall & Create stamps both come with the design on the acetate, so that is very useful. If I was going to stamp on Acetate , I would use a Staz-On ink and then a Staz-on ink cleaner for my stamps,,,xx
