The other man o war guy was the one who led him out before the dismissing salute it shows that guy knows nothing going on there because the guy did something similar by leading him to inspect the guards before the salute and he almost walked in before they put down whatever they are carrying...the command is too weak

I want to assume that this is a training or something because the reviewing officer is not looking presentable. At first I thought the guard commander was a lady. If you're on parade let people know, your word of command should draw attention. If you're shy to draw attention then you're not ready to be a commander.
