Beautiful Railway Station Between Mountains | Railfanning at Kot Najibullah in KPK

Hello Everyone, I am here with a brand new video of railfanning vlog at a small but beautiful railway station surrounded by small mountains. This station is known as Kot Najib Ullah and is located at Haripur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
We were able to capture two trains, one freight and other 11UP Hazara Express here and both were being lead by Hitachi locomotives.

The station is calm, cute actually with quite a lot of greenery.. such a small goods train!!... nice... is that sher shah suri on horseback?. He’s quite respected in Bihar with a lot of monuments to his credit, and he also created the GT road (grand trunk road) right?. He’s also said to have encouraged tourism and tourists by setting up resting spots @ certain intervals and making sure no one went hungry.. The F86 square reminds me of Minsk square in Bangalore, where a war aircraft is present there too!!... what a similarity!!... excellent history!!.. The colourfully decorated lorry/bus was great!!.. have heard that Pakistani people take great pains to ensure their lorry stands out among the crowd!... looks super!!.. reminds me of Haitian “tap-taps” also in terms of design and detailing!!... sad to see an industrial area road being so bad... hope they improve it soon... The plateau and the greenery was great!!. Loved that.. which bike u use by the way?. A Honda or a Kawasaki?. Which milkshake did you have there?. The detailing and decoration of the “rocket bus” stole my heart!!!... is KPK a mountainous area?. Is that where they use these buses?. Reminds me of mini buses used in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir... quite full with passengers.. They still use the levers to switch tracks?. Wow!!.. reminds me of my journey to Gwalior onboard 12627 Karnataka express (Bangalore-new Delhi), where one could still watch stations that had manual track changing via levers like how u have shown... this never looked like a station!!... 😊 I mean it was more like an extension of the park rather than a station, with the park and the station both in greenery.. great job!... Why’s there’s no LV marking on the caboose?. Don’t they normally mark it?. Also the sleeper class coaches (economy class as u folks may call it), can seat/sleep up to how many people?. Because here it’s 72 people in sleeper class... also is there no “unreserved/general class”?. Like how v have here... Why aren’t there coach markings like S1, S2 etc?. Here in IR, S1 means coach number 1, sleeper class, etc. how will people know which coach to board and where’s their seat/berth?. The goods locomotive sounded like an alco in terms of both appearance and acceleration... karela is my favourite!!.. what I do is spread some chilli powder, salt and lightly heat bake it on a tava and have it. The combination of sour, spicy and salty is something to be experienced!!.. can’t be described!!... the minar e Pakistan was also as u said skilfully done true to scale and I agree with that assessment!!.. excellent vlog, enjoyed it!!... good night...

Thank you so much. Excellent indepth comment as always. I will try to answer your questions.. Yes it was Sher Shah Suri who has credit of GT Road. I am riding a Suzuki GS-150 motorcycle. KPK is majorly a mountain province. People usually identify their coach numbers from the numbering like 1, 2, 3, .... 14, 15 etc. We had Banana milkshake :) And yes we have unreserved / general coaches in passenger trains. Whole of passenger train is unreserved

@@PakRailography thanks for increasing my information. I am also a fan of 🚆 Trains. I am traveling in it since my childhood because in summer vacations, we used to visit our Nana Abba who lived in Karachi from Rawalpindi and Sialkot. Those days, lotus or kanwal ponds were seen on both sides of the railway track. But these are gone now because of increase in population. Also, we used to see so many colourful sparrows and birds when we entered Sindh province. But now they have also decreased and many beautiful 🐦 birds now can't be seen. Please control your population and Number of children. Just have two children. Not more. So we could keep preserved our beautiful earth.

Kot Najibullah is the place from where my grandfather migrated to India. My grandfather's one brother who was a sikh got killed during partition riots in Gurdwara in Kot . Can someone post old pictures of houses of old hindus who left from there. I wish to visit this place one day.
