In a hadith by Abu Ya'la, it is mentioned that whoever recites this surah fifty times will have his fifty years of sins forgiven.

In one narration from Musnad Ahmad, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever recites this entire surah ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise." Upon this, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), then we will have many palaces built!" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "Allah will give even more and better palaces than this."

In Sunan Tirmidhi, it is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) told the companions: "Gather together! I will recite to you one-third of the Quran today." They gathered, and he came out of his home and recited Surah Al-Ikhlas, then returned inside. The companions began discussing that the promise of the Prophet (peace be upon him) was to recite one-third of the Quran, perhaps some revelation had come from the heavens. Just then, he came back out and said, "I promised you I would recite one-third of the Quran to you. Listen, this surah is equal to one-third of the Quran."
