Beautiful Resin Hallway Table

This hallway table is made out of Australian Murray Pine and Resin. Finished with Pure Rubio Monocoat, this table is both beautiful and practical.

What kind of wood did you use? We have never tried to use a light colored wood. Instead we use black walnut slabs. Also, where do you get your epoxy? Never have seen that brand before.

The timber I used for this piece is Murray Pine. I'm out here in Australia, so the resin I use is an Australian brand. We have so many beautiful different species of timber out here. We are very lucky.

How do you flatten the slab before sanding? Nice work.

How did the wood turn from 1:44 to 1:45 Lol? did you use a wide belt sander or drum sander?

I use a Linear Rail, Router sled to flatten the slab before I pour and after to clean it up. Then just an orbital sander from then on.

Thanks for your comment. I think from memory, it was about 1200mm in length and 450mm wide. Approx 900-950mm tall.
