Definitely missing beachcombing, spent great hours in Alaska doing! Found blob of waxey substance, realized later it was probably Ambergris;Used in perfumes, medicines, and potions in Eastern cultures, and as a fixative in Western cultures Value; Can sell for up to US\$25 per gram, approaching the price of platinum! It was the size of a gallon jug! $60-90,000!

Alaska would be an amazing place to beach comb. It may have been ambergris but there are many many things that look very similar
