Mimasaur is what other Bini members address Jhoanna as their leader. "Smile naman jan Mimasaur" means "Please give that smile Mimasaur". Bini Jhoanna plays the female fairy we call in Tagalog as diwata or engkantada while guy plays the male fairy we call engkantado that's why he has make up.

I also love the fact that you mention "it's a cozy song that you can sing in a campfire to with nothing but an acoustic guitar". That literally is the core of opm. It's meant to be sang with peers, friends and families. Not in a "commercialized " way but in a communal way.

Jhoanna is my bias. She really caught my attention the moment I watched my very first Bini video. When I finally learned & dived into them, I was surprised how she’s the leader. I find her the funniest, so it really is a surprise to me. Eventually, I learned the reason why she’s the leader, even though she’s second to the youngest. According to the girls, Jhoanna knows how to listen to all of their concerns & not take sides. She’s great at making decisions that even Aiah looks up to her. She is organized & knows how to manage her sched very well. At the same time, she knows how to have fun, and she always gets picked on by the girls because she doesn’t get mad. There’s this thing in Biniverse that blooms always say. Even when Jhoanna is not your bias, you will have a soft spot for her. That when she gets emotional, everyone (blooms) will cry with her. When she starts to be in leader mode, you just listen. As a fan, when she starts to speak in a serious manner, I feel like I just nod to agree with her and listen to her talk all day. With Bini, Jhoanna as their leader, they are destined for greater things!

Mimasaur is her nickname, though I don't know where it originated from or what it means. 🤣 I think blooms gave that nickname to her, that's the reason why the culture in our country clashes within groups. Also the "Mangga ka ba?" is a meme in the PH where the fans teases Jhoanna as a mango fruit because her head is looks like or shape like a mango. In K-Pop, the idols hated it when their fans are giving them funny nicknames, not in PH, Jhoanna and the rest of the Binis embraces it, meme around it and loving it, it's their way to show the love that the fans showers them.
