In the visual novel, Ryuya and Kanna were reincarnated into Yukito and Misuzu. Yukito didn't actually break the curse, he just knew when he was recarinated (given a second chance). He would do better, and try to make the next girl happy and not alone. Those two kids are actually Ryuya and Kanna's reincarnations. If you watch the ending credits for Air in Summer Special, you will see Kanna and Ryuya holding hands just like the two kids. Which is giving a clue to who they are in the anime.

@@A_A_K_01 in my personal opinion, having watched it fully through twice, it's not as good as clannad, but on par with kanon and air. definitely has a similar feel w/ the supernatural elements, and has a solid cast of characters. the first season got a tad boring during some characters arcs, but the second season (refrain) was really good and when the story all comes together it's worth it. i really appreciated it a lot more on my second watch and it made a lot more sense.

i had high expectations for this show after Clannad and Angel Beats and i was definitely not disappointed. 5 episodes in and this show is just amazing. it upsets me its only 13 episodes tho. im basically halfway through it but it had me hooked since episode 1. such a great show

I started it, sometime last year, and I have yet to master it, but it's doable! Also, I can still see my middle school self getting ready for soccer in my mom's classroom, having this ost on and listening to it not because I knew the show, but because I just loved the song. I always imagined this to be played at night, and maybe it's from the thumbnail picture or mood/sound of it. Eventually, got into the show a few years after I found it, as I had said in my previous comment that I watched it, and now I wanna rewatch it to see how I understand it differently. It's a confusing show, when you think about some of the concepts, even for high schoolers. One day, I'll rewatch it and be able to learn again from this memorable show.

After all these years I still thought this is THE best OST in A.I.R, even compared with beautiful and emotional soundtracks such as Giniro, Aozora etc. The reason is (I don't if this is done by purpose or not by the author) this soundtrack not only represent a flavor of summer from Misuzu (in first section) but also offers some nostalgic melody from second section that gives the audience some hints of Misuzu's prelife. Its just like what you went through in the game. You countered a sunny girl with a fresh smell of summer (Section I). Suddenly you could not help been attracted by her and diving into your memory. Something ancient, heartwarming and nostalgic feeling surrounds you (Section II)....... And suddenly, she says hello to you, and you wake up. In front of you is still this sunny girl with a fresh flavor of summer. (back to Section I). Isn't that genius?! Every time I listen to this, I feel so sorry that Tomoko Kawakami had passed away and we'll never be able to listen to Misuzu's voice again (｡•́︿•̀｡)
