The two times I have flown out of Santos Dumont, the take off was in the opposite direction and even more dramatic....my favorite take off ever!

Fantastic! I traveled in and out of GIG in my visit to Rio but next time I want to go to SDU for sure. Both landing and take-off are most fascinating! Your teak-off is particularly spectacular. I wished you zoomed in and out to the Sugarloaf and Copacabana.

Nice vid, I suppose you were flying to Sao Paulo? Back in the day I flew the Ponte Aerea quite often on the Electra, they were slower and were not as high by the time they were over Copacabana and Ipanema, we could actually make out people walking on the beaches.

4300’, that’s one of the shortest runways I’ve seen. Shorter than London City even, I think.
